Sola has long understood that sometimes there are those who must live outside the lines of law and help those who the law will not help. He had heard of many different places that he could make a difference but Gladius seemed to be one that was in the most need. He was not alone however, a shadow walked with him. Not one that was evil but one that whispered to him in the darkness of evil being done. He found that he could only test this being and found that it served his aims and guided him in a correct manner. A rosary was granted to him with on pearl on it. Sola was told that he would gain more as his faith grew. The shadow gave no name but only continued to walk beside him, through the gates of Gladius. | MitzaVolchenko01-26-06, 10:10 PM | And so it begins: Seeking a ring of counterspells in the market of Gladius, Sola comes upon a pretty young gypsy woman sitting by her overturned cart crying like the world has ended. Her dress is torn and she is holding the head of her dead pony in her lap. It has had its throat slit, and she is covered in its blood. Other people simply make a sign of warding and cross the street to avoid her. |
| Erithmu01-27-06, 02:46 AM | Pausing for a moment to look around Sola needs no nudge to help this woman. He approaches in a rather direct mannor but puts no threat forth in his stride. Pardon me ma'am but perhaps I can be of some help? He scans the crowd to the best of his ability making sure there are no others that would try to take advantage of someone already beaten down. |
| MitzaVolchenko01-29-06, 04:30 PM | "You...you..you don't want to help me. I'm nothing but bad luck," she sniffles the words out looking up at Sola and wiping a smear of blood across her face as she pushes her dark hair out of her eyes. "The watch won't help the likes of me, and you don't look like any paladin I've ever seen. They're the only ones that will help my sort." Upon closer inspection, you can tell that she is a traveler gypsy. The cart would have held all of her possessions. There are a couple of blankets and some foodstuffs that have spilled to the ground, but there does not appear to be much in the way of personal possessions or wares for sale that you would expect from this sort of person. |
| Erithmu01-29-06, 04:49 PM | Sola approaches and lowers himself to sit on his haunches and looks the woman in the eye. Casting a small incantation he closes some of the minor wounds and makes a couple of her bumps and bruises feel better. Just because one is not a paladin, does not mean they can not help those in need. While the light may reveal things it also distorts what is unseen, and a paladin's code may make him obligatory, but the path of a paladin is a choice unto itself. Come, tell me your woes. Is the cart broken or just tilted over. I got that it has been ransacked I am just trying to figure out some of the situation. I figure her only pony is the one that has been killed? |
| MitzaVolchenko01-29-06, 05:24 PM | Correct...her only pony is dead and the cart is only tipped over, but has been ransacked. "I...I...thank you,"the woman looks away from his gaze."My name is Hessiene, and I am as you can surely see, one of the folk of the roads. A brute attacked me and stole my chest, killing poor Jeral here. I haven't any means left to pay you for your kindness, and by now that thief is probably half way to the ends of the earth." She breaks down into more heartbroken, bitter, incoherent sobs. Sola can see that there are a few footprints in blood leading off toward the main gate of Gladius. The trial disappears not far away but the direction is clear. |
| Erithmu01-29-06, 06:29 PM | From above drop a resistance for a CMiW Sola does his best to get the cart upright and stable. He calls a boy over to run to Mersia and the old Gsis building and ask for an orc named K'ronk and to tell the orc to bring one of the stable horses to help the woman out. K'ronk is a nice orc, but you will have excuse his manners he has just been through some rough times. I make no promise other than I will do what I can. Sola waits for a moment for any response and then heads out of the city of Gladius. Traveling: Bow out and being aware of my surroundings. Stay to the side of the road. |
| MitzaVolchenko01-29-06, 06:44 PM | Sola heads to the gates where after amoment of conversation one of the guards admits to having seen someone with a blood stain on their tunic carrying a chest down the forest road not too long before. Thanking the guard, Sola takes the turn off to the forest road (Track Check-1d20+3=18 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=349982)). Not far down the road Sola spots tracks leading off the road at an odd location. He bends to examine them closer and hears several voices in the distance (perhaps 25 yards away through dense underbrush) having an argument in an unknown language. |
| Erithmu01-29-06, 06:51 PM | Pulling an arrow from his bow he sets the arrow on the string and moves quietly into a posistion where he might be able to see what the theives look like. rolls (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=349983) MS = 22, Hide = 11, Eventual Init = 11 |
| MitzaVolchenko01-29-06, 06:56 PM | Sola approaches a small clearing moving like a shadow through the forest and finds a decent vantage point wherein he can observe a human male dressed in gray and black having a loud argument with a band of 12 or so goblins in their own tongue. Sitting in the midst of the goblins is a chest, which by its decorations is likely the gypsy's. Most of the goblins have drawn weapns. The man has blood stains on his clothes but appears to be uninjured. |
| Erithmu01-29-06, 07:08 PM | Considering the current situation Sola waits for a moment to see if one group or another will make a move. Trying to fight 12 Goblins is difficult enough, but having to fight a semi accomplished theif along with them would be dangerous. Going to let this develop some and wait for some of the traffic to clear. Where am I relative to the golblins, chest and the thief. |
| MitzaVolchenko01-29-06, 08:01 PM | You are behind the human (about 25'). There are three goblins standing in the spaces directly in front of the human. the chest is behind them and flanked by other goblins. The argument continues for some time with the human gesturing broadly and the goblins arguing just as vehemently. Finally they seem to reach an agreement and the goblins hand the human a pouch before hefting the chest and making ready to leave. |
| Erithmu01-30-06, 10:01 AM | Wait till the goblins are out of the clearning, count to about three. Then put an arrow in the thief and if I win Init rapid shot him for two arrows. Hopefully he will be flat footed for all of these. rolls (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=350563) Surprize round: Atk/Dmg = 14/7 (w/ PBS included) Rnd 1: Rapid shot (no PBS Add +1 to hit 'n dam if I some how beat him or he doesn't move.) Atk/Dmg 24/6 and 17/4 |
| MitzaVolchenko01-30-06, 10:24 AM | The thief rolled a one for initiative. He is badly wounded by the three arrows and moves to cover about 35' feet away behind a tree drawing a dagger as he goes. He has full cover which you can negate by moving to only partial cover...I assume you will do this and am giving you a spot check (Hide-1d20+7=8 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=350575)) and (Spot-1d20+7=15 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=350576)). You see him hiding. He has +4 AC due to cover and now 30' away. |
| Erithmu01-30-06, 10:37 AM | I'll take that shot Atk/dmg = 19/7 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=350592) |
| MitzaVolchenko01-30-06, 10:57 AM | He drops where he stands and is dying. |
| Erithmu01-30-06, 11:12 AM | Moving quickly to the thief he checked the man for any belongings and then set out after the goblins. Knowing that they couldn't be too far ahead he made the turn in the forest cautiously before continuing on. Keep his dagger for now, I wont keep it at the end of the quest but I might use it for the duration of it. We can press on if your up to it. The sooner we are done the more time you have to do other things, but you can keep your priorities in order. How big was that chest anyways, will I be able to carry it home? |
| MitzaVolchenko01-31-06, 09:18 PM | You could carry it, but I wouldn't bet on you running far with it (the chest). The thief had a dagger, some now rather bloody clothes, a bit of trailbread, a set of thieves tools, and the bag of 800gp that he received from the goblins. Go ahead and describe how you wish to proceed. Track DC is 15 to follow the goblins' trail. They start covering their tracks about 20 yards away from the clearing. I am game with continuing and hopefully having this week out of th way by Thursday as I will likely have a busy weekend. |
| Erithmu01-31-06, 09:26 PM | Chest size was mostly for later. With the Goblins trying to make some ground Sola slides the dagger in his belt and grabs the mans pouch throwing it quickly in his pack. With a quick look he begins to try to make heads or tails of the trail, but fails (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=352430) to make much headway. I know I didn't want to wait long after the goblins left before starting that fight, could I take a listen check here too to see if I can hear the sounds of them doing stuff. If so Listen = 12 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=352435) .. Blech If that doesn't work I'll take my time in tracking them, I unfortunately don't have any survival ranks so this could take a while. Trying to be quiet as I'm doing so, Bow drawn. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-02-06, 02:30 AM | Make three of each: Move Silent Track Search Spot Listen Make one of each: Hide Survival Reflex Save |

| MitzaVolchenko02-03-06, 01:05 AM | After several false starts and misturnings, Sola finds himself entering a forest hamlet. It appears to be a small village but has a huge market but upon looking up he sees that there are also elegant dwellings in the trees. The goblins are nowhere in sight but he is certain this is where they came. There are people of all descriptions representing several sylvan and a few subterranean races. There are even a couple of drow bartering furiously with a wild elf over some hides. Near the market square stands the only stone building in the place, and it is obviously a tavern. |
| Erithmu02-03-06, 10:33 AM | Taking in the sight he stows his weapons as this appears to be a place of neutral ground. Normally expecting subterrainian races to be at war with the surface races, Sola is about to step out but thinks better of it for a moment. Taking a quick consideration he calls upon his spellcasting to change him into the form of something similar to the wild elf. While he was not sure if the goblins saw him, he was not willing to take that chance. Walking out of the woods he wandered through the market keeping an eye out for the chest. When he passes infront of the tavern he takes a look inside making note of who might be there. At that moment his stomach grumbled something and Sola decided he should probably fill his stomach. The EYE stew was good, but it never hurt to try something else now and again. Stepping inside he looked to see who and what the inhabitants are. Cast disguise self |
| MitzaVolchenko02-03-06, 12:30 PM | The denizens of the tavern are the same mix as is in the market, though here they seem to be dividied up by race a bit more. A harried dwarven barmaid motions you to an empty seat at a table of halflings as the only one available in the bustling tavern and tells you she'll have your dinner right out, not bothering to as what you want. The food is all the same, but it smells good. One of the halflings gives you an interested look but does not stop its conversation with its fellows. |
| Erithmu02-03-06, 01:02 PM | Slightly disappointed that there aren't any goblins in the tavern Sola gives a kind nod to the halfling who is appears to take interest in him. Afternoon. I'm not familiar with this place. Seems to be a large mix of races here that normally decide not to get along. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-04-06, 07:28 PM | The halfer looks him up and down more openly and replies, "This is neutral ground. Anybody starting trouble here gets a whole lotta whomping from the Merchant Princes up there in the trees." A kobold walks up to the halfer and whispers in his ear. The halfer merely nods and gives the kobold a thumb's up sign. "Hakken Fastfingers, at your service," he introduces himself to Sola. "What brings you out here for your first visit?" |
| Erithmu02-04-06, 08:11 PM | Sola sizes up Hakken's credibility and then decdies that he doesn't have too much of a choice. Was hunting some prey, they seem to have wandered through here. About 12 of them, carrying a chest, smaller folk. I don't have any names but from the size of the tracks they were smaller type of people. Could have been gnome, goblin, halfling, or kobold. They did a pretty good job of not leaving too much of a trail. Leaning in a little closer, Wouldn't have seen anything like that come through here recently Sola is trying his best to not imply that either the kobold or the halflings are involved, he is just looking for a lead. Also my hope is that you are rolling sense motives and letting me know what they tell me. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-05-06, 02:43 AM | Bluff (1d20+2=3 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=355985)) vs Sola sense motive. Sola autowins and knows that Hakken is being deceptive. Hakken shakes his head slowly "Nope, nothing like that, but there are a lot of little folks in these parts." |
| Erithmu02-05-06, 10:43 AM | Sola leans in just a bit further, Something you want to discuss in private? Sola keeps his stare locked on the halfling but tries to be aware of his surroundings. Is the kobold still around? |
| MitzaVolchenko02-05-06, 11:59 PM | No, the kobold left the tavern after the signal from the halfer. Hakken gives Sola a look of affable innocence and shakes his head before turning back to his companions and pointedly trying to ignore Sola. |
| Erithmu02-06-06, 12:24 AM | Pondering some of his options, force would be nice to have right now but he needed friends and not enemies. Pulling out the sack from the thief he flipped through it counting it to where only the uninterested halfling could very easily see. Grabbing a couple of gold from the gleeming sack Sola put it back and paid no attention to the halfling and waited for his meal. Sola will wait for his meal and try to keep the halfling interested, if his disguise self is soon to run out and the halfling hasn't taken him up he will walk outside and make a loop of the tavern and then dismiss the spell so that it doesn't happen in the middle of a conversation. Sorry it is taking so long to get to the next fight, its kind of a bummer I rolled so bad on the track checks. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-06-06, 12:59 AM | No worries on time...You end up eating and paying for your meal then leaving the tavern to do your spell dismissal. It is full dark and the area is torchlit but dim. Roll spot/listens for me. |
| Erithmu02-06-06, 05:24 AM | Spot/Listen = 24/18 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=356781) |
| MitzaVolchenko02-06-06, 08:00 AM | Submit tactics for being ambushed by two ogres as you drop your spell behind the inn. They do not get a surprise round as you saw and heard them lurking and felt that they were up to no good where you are concerned. |
| Erithmu02-06-06, 09:49 AM | Submit ground conditions, cover, size of tavern, etc etc (ground map, can be just ascii) so that I can not be destroyed by them. I might try to reset the encounter by wandering back to the middle of the market and leading them out into the forest and using some hiding techniques. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-07-06, 02:43 AM | They are 'hiding' beyond a platform used for unloading wagons at the kitchen entrance to the tavern. If you wish to turn around and head back into the market give me a reflex save. For space, you have the platform which is about 4'6" high and 14'x14' leading to the closed kitchen door. There is about 25' of clear space on its three open sides marred only by a stack of empty crates off to one side. (DC15 to climb, unstable footing 10' high). Beyond them is what looks like a wooden storage building, not quite warehouse size and forming the other side of the space is the wooden backing to a row of market stalls which are currently closed for the late dinner hour. I am both of my photo hosting locations are refusing to behave tonight so I can't give you your map. |
| Erithmu02-07-06, 09:48 AM | tactics: try to take one out and hold person the other. Try to use any cover to avoid softening up by javelins or rocks or things that make me hurt. Avoid melee and try to use the high/low ground to prevent charges, they are nasty enough that need to avoid them. my preference is to kill one and then use hold person. but if they are both closing quickly to melee hold the one that is unhurt and then kill the other one hoping the first doesn't break hold. If things go bad I would rather have it spill into next week and and I can react to each round. bad = less than 15 hps |
| MitzaVolchenko02-11-06, 11:49 AM | I'll get you at least a code map later today, though I may go ahead and have Macbrea run your character while I run the ogres instead as I canlay out a map on the table here for him to work from and optimize your tactics. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-11-06, 04:37 PM | Init Sola 1d20+3=5 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361494) O1 1d20-1=13 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361495) O2 1d20-1=13 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361497) Round 1 Ogres are unaware that they have been spotted. Sola has bow out as he steps into the dim alley. Sola rapid shots his nearest opponent (1d20+5=11 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361508)), (1d20+5=17 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361513)) hitting with the second arrow for (1d8+3=9 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361516)). Round 2 Ogre 1 steps into line of sight and throws a javelin (1d20+1=21 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361518)) attempts to confirm crit (1d20+1=12 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361520)) but doesn't and deals (1d8+5=8 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361521)) damage. Ogre 2 steps into line of sight and throws a javelin (1d20+1=19 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361522)) and hits for (1d8+5=7 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361523)). Sola staggers dramaticallyback around to the inn door calling for the Watch. Ogre 1 20/29 Ogre 2 29/29 Sola 14/29 I chose to pull you out of that fight as you were overmatched without tatt use which you did not yet specify...we are back in RP and you have not failed the quest as defeating the ogres was not necessary to continue, however you must now deal with the RP side of things. Ogres are not people for the purpose of most spells...they are giants and do give you favored enemy bonus, but they are not victim to humanoid spells. A duergar male in a guard's uniform waddles over to Sola from where he had just exited the inn and demands, "Wot yer yellin an' caterwaulin' 'bout, 'uman?" Sola Spot:1d20+7=17 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=361528). Sola spots the halfling stepping onto a walkway ascending to one of the tree mansions across the square As sola is considering what to say to the guard, the two ogres stagger out of the alley. There are several arrows sticking out of them (only one of which is Sola's and only one of which has done any damage). The start a great raging woeful cry and demand that Sola be arrested for attacking them immediately! |
| Erithmu02-12-06, 05:46 PM | Sola looks at the ogres and sees the set up. Not changing his facial expression he looks at his own wounds that are showing through his armor. Why should I be arrested, I see no reason why I cannot defend myself from attack. I would like to also point out that only one of those arrows are mine, the others look like fakes. I know ogres are dumb, but I'm slightly impressed with this ruse. I belive that I am being set up. Sola will be playing the new person angle, if it gets ugly. Send me a PM sometime this week and we can work this quest out in 30 min via chat and then just copy/paste the results so they are on time. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 04:34 PM | Ogre1's bluff (1d20-2=5 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364403)) Ogre2's bluff(1d20-2=18 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364405)) Guard's sense motive(1d20+1=7 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364406)) Sola's plea (1d20=9 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364408)) The duergar guard looks non-plussed and though inclined to believe Sola cannot dismiss the ogres' claims out of hand...there are all of those arrows after all... |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 04:38 PM | Seeing some of the guard's disbelief he adds Are you willing to tell me that for all of those arrows they never did cry out, or fall over from injury. I will claim the one hit but not the rest. If you would like we could compare the arrows in my quiver to the ones sticking out. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 05:10 PM | As the guard is listneing to the renewed arguments on both sides, a second guard, an elf this time, walks up and asks for a report. Speaking in an unknown tongue the duergar fills in the newcomer. The two ogres start to look a bit uncomfortable but continue to protest their innocence. Elf's check(1d20+4=22 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364432)) Ogre1 (1d20-2=8 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364433)) Ogre2 (1d20-2=0 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364434)) Sola (1d20=12 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364435)) The elf steps up to the ogre that Sola had actually hit and rips Sola's arrow out of him then in a blinding movment slices the ogre's purse strings and hands both the ruined arrow and the purse to Sola. "Be on your way stranger. It is clear you've made enemies here, no matter your truthfulness. I wouldn't put too high a price on your life should you still be here come morning." |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 05:22 PM | Sola simply nods at the elf and then moves away at a normal trot in the direction the halfling went looking for guards of the house and the local enforcement crew. There were probably many ways into the building but not all of them would be quiet. just gimme the rough description of the building and maybe some guard patrols, I will watch it for about 5 minutes trying to 'window shop' at some of the stands that have a good view of the house. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 05:36 PM | Upon closes inspection Sola can see that all of the tree mansions are conncected by walkways. The halfling has takena ground level walkway ramp up to one of them. The possible approaches are the same walkway, going up another mansion's walkway and cutting through its 'grounds', or climbing a furhter tree and making his way throughthe tree tops. There are irregular patrols around the area. The elf that let him off is leaning against the inn watching him. |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 05:49 PM | Having done his scouting he walks over to the elf guard and leans up on the wall next to him. You here to make sure I don't get in trouble or that I don't cause any? Pretty sure that it is the latter he waits for the elf's response. Getting in and out without some fighting might be difficult. Having always been truthful it was going to be harder to get out without lying. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 05:56 PM | The elf smirks at Sola, "Both and neither. I have a wager that I intend to collect afore the night ends." http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/uninvitedtruth/Treehouse.jpg |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 05:59 PM | Sola looks around for the Dreuger guard and then leans in, so which way do you win. With me dead or alive? |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 06:11 PM | The elf chuckles, "That would be telling, now wouldn't it?" |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 06:16 PM | Sola smiles back True, but if you win with me walking out of here in one piece then I might be inclined to help with that wager for some non monitary compensation. You keep all the money and I get out of your hair. Diplo = 16 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364487) |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 06:19 PM | "Let's just say that I wouldn't go up that ramp were I you and valuing my skin," the elf looks around and spots the duergar guard heading his way. "Good luck." The elf pushes off of the building and moves to intercept the dwarf before the dwarf figure out that he was conversing with you. |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 06:31 PM | Pushing off the wall a moment after the elf does, Sola takes a long route toward the back ramp watching movement above him and looking for any signs of ambush. Along the way he pulls out his new wand and heals his wounds up some. Putting away the wand he looks for some cover on the upper platforms and then calmly walks up the ramp before ducking behind some cover. Wand (3 charges) = 2,2,5 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364491) = 23/29hp remaining Hide/MS = 11/17 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364500) 1! again on the hide. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 06:42 PM | Spot:1d20+2=14 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364496) Listen: 1d20+2=17 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364497) Just as Sola starts to make his way up the ramp as stealthily as possible (or as stealthily as the fates seem willing to allow him) a shimmering light blasts into his face (save-save vs color spray (1d20+6=19) (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364508)). He bliks his eyes against the light and ducks to one side of the walkway. |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 06:52 PM | Irritated at his clumsyness Sola needs to make quick work of this. He turns invisible and moves up the ramp just a bit as quietly as he can. MS = 16 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364516) Next round cast silence on self failing save and rush the sorc and try to grapple him |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 06:59 PM | Listen(1d20+2=14 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364519)) Sola moves quickly to the top of the ramp and lays his silence spell around himself arriving just in time to see the elf head into the house. Following quietly Sola makes his way to the open doorway and looks about. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/uninvitedtruth/TreehouseInterior.jpg you are entering where the rug is...the red squiggles indicate heavy tapestry that serve as walls. You see the elf disappear into the area directly opposite you |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 07:05 PM | With no concern for sight or sound Sola makes his way into the house glancing quickly to locate the spellslinger or the chest he is looking for. He seems to have been marked by some magical means |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 07:07 PM | Making his way into the main bedchamber, Sola sees the chest in question and the elf. The elf is digging through the chest swearing softly with his back to the entryway. |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 07:14 PM | Moving up to the sorcerer the elf notices only for a second that something is wrong before his head is shoved down and the chest lid is brought down upon his head. rolls (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364545) Touch = 25/Grap = 18/NLdmg = 4 |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 07:18 PM | Resisting grapple fails (1d20-2=13 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364546)). As Sola rips the chest open and puts the elf in a full hold, the elf's features are twisted in a silent scream of rage and pain. Grapple resist for round 6 (1d20-2=18 (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364560)) |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 07:37 PM | Sola misses his attempt to re-grappel the elf. The elf dives across the room heading for the exit. |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 07:38 PM | Sola tries to get a grip back on the elf but slips and cant get a hold of him. He loosens his sword as he fails to get the grip. unmentionable rolls (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=364562) |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 07:48 PM | With the elf trying to make a run for the door Sola swings his falchion gashing deep into the back of the elf, no sound comes out from his mouth as he runs. | Erithmu02-14-06, 07:57 PM | Feeling the elf go limp, he makes a quick look outside to see if any guards were comming to judge his time. He strips the elf of anything of noticable value and then goes to get the gypsy's chest. Putting what he stripped from the elf in the chest he put the chest on his shoulder and after a quick glance to make sure no one on the tree level was looking walked down the ramp. Making a quick look back to the market he gave a quick wave to the elf before departing into the forest and making his way back to the Gypsy to return her belongings. |
| MitzaVolchenko02-14-06, 08:08 PM | Sola returns to the city to find K'ronk staring at Hessiene in amazement as she tells his fortune. Seeing his approach, she leaps up and runs over to Sola, "You got it back!" She dances about him excited and as soon as he puts the chest down starts to dig through it happily tossing a ring, some isc fripperies, and a pouch of coins out of it, "Those aren't mine. I won't have anything to do with counterspelling! And as much as I can always use coin, I couldn't keep anything not my own.." She babbles on for some time as she refolds items in the chest and finally sighs happily sitting on the chest. "Thank you. Please...if there is anything I can do for you?" |
| Erithmu02-14-06, 09:21 PM | Sola smiles at Hessiene for a moment. I keep nothing that is not my own. It is my hope that you carry on and don't get into too many troubles going forward. Sola smiles at K'ronk and the orc gives a big tooth grin back. K'ronk going to stay w/ EYE, Hes-in-e tell K'ronk he shouldn't leave even with dead man watching over his shoulder Sola gives a nod of approval to Hessiene. You are welcome at our Hall anytime Hessiene. |
