03-03-04, 06:45 PM Mo, this is really minor, but I thought I would bring it to your attention. Hadrigan Hillbuilder is a new character this week. He should have a fight record of 0/0 instead of 2/2.

03-03-04, 06:47 PM I'm not sure if you noticed, but barrel_master has brought Octavian out of retirement, and made him ready this week. Since Jagath and Zorander are challenging each other, by default Octavian will be facing Anna.

Andy my character, Laucian Evior, and Battousi's character, Artavian, both have doubles on the roster at level 2

also since i think Artavian forgot to mention it on his character sheet, he has challenged Pard, and Pard has accepted

03-04-04, 08:02 AM @Snark - Thanks for the warning... And I was planning for a rematch against Brackin. I had even been working on some RP to post... (oh well, I'll save it for later. Maybe Brackin and I can challenge at 13th level, when he has Spell Resistance).

@Mo + Mag - I posted this on another thread:
@Mag - Do you dare to let me run the Bruno (alone) vs Storm Giant fight? If so, then sign me up. I'll run it. :devil:

@Mo - The Harvester #2 is now undefeated with 5 wins and should be on the unscathed winners section. I still think that section should be modified to list any character which gets 5 wins in a row, so that it doesn't favor builds that are strongest at low levels (like the multiclass barbarians and multiclass fighters). Changing the criteria to be 5 wins in a row (at any levels) would add Herrix, Jindl, and the Harvester to the list.

I have two active characters, but I wasn't given a fight to mod, does this mean I will start getting negative credits.

Also I think battousi was hoping to gain credits by only having one character and modding a fight

I think there is actually a new situation in the arena..and a good one. There are too many people wanting to mod and/or gain credits, but not enough characters

03-04-04, 01:21 PM Two quick things, Moh. First of all, you forgot to list that Bruno is hunting another Storm Giant ( I suppose it would be alright if Jindl modded it ;), so I will need a fight to run this week as I have two chars going.

Also, I appear to have lost a credit, but with the delay in pairings and such, I wonder if my fight, originally finished Tuesday, should really be considered late?

Mo just changed the credits system. Now, you lose a credit if you run less fights than the number of active PC's, you break even if you run the same number of fights as you have PC's, and you gain a credit when you run more fights than PC's. I'm not sure how I feel about this change yet, I'm still mulling it over.

However, the reason you lost a credit, is becuase you have Zorander active and you are not running any fights.

If you want Bruno to hunt the Storm Giant, I'll run it. But since a monster fight counts as 2 pc's, you could lose 2 more credits (for a total of 3). To prevent that, I'd run your monster fight, if you'll take one of my fights (Zippy vs Kiri). That way you run 1 fight for 3 pcs (remember the monster fight counts as 2), and thus only lose a total of 2 credits this week.

I know that when Anna faced the Gorgon, it counted as 2 pcs - so I had to run an extra fight. That may have been the first time a monster fight counted as 2. Personally, I don't think that a monster fight should count as 2 fights. If we can get it changed back to counting as only one fight, then Cat, Mo, and I would all get 1 more credit, for all of us fought monster fights which counted as 2 pcs over the last 2 weeks.

As for your monster fight, I already said you could take the pixie fight and I'll run your storm giant fight.

Well, there isn't much I can do, so I appreciate your offer and accept it. I hope the monster fights do only count for 1 someday, till then, with the credit system hopefulyl reverting to its sensible cousin, perhaps someone can grant me the other fight I am obligated to run thsi week. (I've got a midterm exam I'm working on for Tuesday, two test tomorrow, a 10 pg minimum rough draft ofor my Junior Seminar for next Thursday and an hour-long presentatyion on Thursday for the same class. Needless to say, I really can't handle more than two fights.. hopefully Ethendril's developed a little bit faster killing power :P [j/k])
