As some of you may have read, apparently a secret poll was made to allow druids and wild armor with which they aren't proficient and not suffer the ACP. This kind of coniving and sneaky attitude will not be tolerated. This is decietful, devious and plain underhanded because a few people want to "get rich quick" from this scheme. I hate to have to say this, and i don't know why i'm the only one, but Jindl what you have done is not becoming of a CoCo GM and shame on those that participated in this scheme. Am I the only one who stands for honesty, fair-play and credibility? Pulling this kind of stuff and secretely at that, pm'ing your buddies to vote against it doesn't cut it. I would ask the members to PLEASE consider the results of that poll to be null and void. This incident will discussed with Cat and hopefully MO about possible what to do. This may be taken up with the Wiz-O's as well. Again, just when we think we worked past some of our differences and allowed the CoCo to go on, more stuff happens to tear down it's credibility. IMPORTANT!!! AS IT STANDS DRUIDS IN WILD ARMOR FOR WHICH THEY ARE NOT PROFICIENT STILL SUFFER THE ACP! -ToK |
| Jindl07-27-04, 10:10 PM | No they won't. The Elders voted, and by a majority vote they will not. |
| Tellish_of_Ket07-27-04, 10:19 PM | Originally posted by Jindl No they won't. The Elders voted, and by a majority vote they will not. And you wonder why we took away the roster keeping from you? All you do is try to manouver and pull sneaky stuff for personal gain without any though about the CoCo, without any fairness but your own selfishness. All you are trying to do is destroy CoCo by this kind of powerplaying. Since the mighty Jindl has been unseated from his throne (due to your own selfishness i might add) you are now seeking ways to harm it, stunt it's growth and spoil it for others so that others do not join. I seriously hope people aren't blind to what you are trying to do. The poll is null and void. -ToK |
| Jindl07-27-04, 10:43 PM | Take it back to the Tavern, where I already told you that you do NOT have the authority to nullify a decision by the Elders regarding interpretation of the Core Rules. |

| SnarkHunter07-27-04, 11:28 PM | Ah this is why I enjoy not being an elder any longer. ...when did it stop being about the music? |
| Ethendril07-28-04, 11:46 AM | Originally posted by SnarkHunter Ah this is why I enjoy not being an elder any longer. ...when did it stop being about the music? Good point, Snark, and this is why I don't enjoy being an elder now. I am absolutely sick of the flaming going on between certain elders. We wonder why we don't have greater numbers here. It's because only a handful of people can see past the constant arguing over everything. Some people come here to check things out, then see that no one seems to be having any fun because of the constant arguing, flaming, put-downs, and both overt and passive-agressive insults. Believe it or not, I remember a time when this wasn't the case. As an elder, I don't want to be in the middle of all this. If everyone can't learn to get along, I'm going to quit as an elder, and if that doesn't help the "music" return, I'll quit altogether. I imagine I'm one of the oldest here (31), and the behavior of some others makes me think I'm too mature to be here. I really like COCO, and hope I can stay here and have fun. But this is my plea for everyone to stop the constant bickering, because this place loses its magic for me when this is all I see. *Ethendril casts calm emotions, hoping things calm down so he doesn't have to leave. |

| Pittbull07-28-04, 01:23 PM | A little bit of both, I'm playing D&D since 1989 and heard a lot of arguments about rules. Hatzinger is a friend of mine and he told about this real cool place to test out builds and just have fun. Because of my time-demanding job, I've been not able to pitlord any fights, but even without, I have a lot of fun here around, Angosh has become real "baby" of mine. The last weeks I've read more and more things here, which aren't nice and I fear that becomes more and more. SO THIS IS MY PLEASE: BE FAIR TO EACH OTHER AND LET'S HAVE MORE FUN AGAIN! PS: The word FUN has been used three times in this post! |
| Aramil Dunskar07-28-04, 02:01 PM | Heh, well Eth might be the oldest one here but I might be the youngest (15) but anyways I agree with Pitbull, when this place first appeared I just saw a mass confusion of threads, but after some time Kedi told me about it again and I looked at it, the place improved much as I saw it when it was first here, so I decided to join, as since I enjoyed my time here and I like this place a lot. So I'm just hoping that the senate members/elders can get it together so they can improve this place....... -AD |
| Magagumo07-28-04, 02:06 PM | I second Eth's declaration :) I might not top him in natural age (20 going on 21) but I've already been accused many a time of acting twice it :smirk: The Curmudgeon has spoken!! *slams down stick and trails off, hand animatedly accompanying his incomprehensible arguements* |
| Battousai200507-29-04, 04:18 PM | Ah, at least we won't have to resort to age discrimination. I'm 17 on this end. I'm the 'baby' of the group (Arti, Kaigan, and Mystic are all older than me by a year) but I think I get some respect from them. I have to agree with what everyone is saying. The GM's here (not Mo. He hasn't been around lately) tend to, ah, bicker a bit too much. Personally, I get sick of it real fast. Natural debates about rules are fine. Hell, I've been involved in them. So has everyone here. The problem is when it turns into personal arguments. Ex: here. Seriously, if we have an argument, lets just try to solve it peacefully. Another policy I've noted is making arguments WAY too public. When was it policy to make a new thread every time someone has an argument? Tellesh, after you slammed Hatzinger for making public ideas, you're going to do the same? Cat, you've done the same, as has Jindl. Most of these arguments can be settled in the tavern. If not, then move them to a thread. |

I just can't remember doing such a thing. Point is, we're all guilty some way. No is more holy than the other. We need to use this as a stepping stone to start getting along and doing some good. -ToK |
| Hatzinger07-29-04, 06:47 PM | me neither? ...uh-oh... gotta stop that postman with the ticking package. :D |
| Battousai200507-29-04, 06:58 PM | Huh. Maybe it wasn't Hat after all. I've just gotten so used to putting the blame on him, I guess I decided to give him a break and make him appear the victem.:D |
