Druid are protectors of nature ect. And hate people destroying it cause they love it so much.

Along these lines add things a druid can do \ suggest regularly or regularly to annoy the other Npc s and Pc s

I killed this one session yesterday, basically me and the party bard had gone off to do a separt side quest (our party has 6 people) We'll we finally get back and find out that the rest of the party has gone off to clear an old fortress out.
BAsically when we get there the party jumps on the idea of getting me to come forggeting about my chracters tendancy to run in hte face of danger. We'll we get into our first fight, basically its 6 kobolds and an ogre. WE'll the whole im a scared druid kicks in and i cast obsuruing mist and the hallways fill with mist. OOPS, i get out but.......they dont LOL.

Be overly philosophical with that high wisdom, and use plenty of metaphors relating to nature, especially with barbarians.

Insist that under no circumstances can the party do ANYTHING to harm the forest.

"Okay, everyone, time to scrounge up some firewood ... "

"Those dead branches could provide shelter for a cute little squirrel or bunny rabbit! You wouldn't want to hurt the poor little bunny rabbits, would you?"

Corollary. Lead a guerilla uprising to stop the true villains of your campaign: the human villagers!

I have a Grugach (Wild Elf) Druid in our "Seafarers of Erna" campaign. Jaidar Cain was the next-in-line successor to the tribal shaman (druid), but due to childhood differences with one of the hunters (ranger), when they grew up and the old shaman passed on, the hunter (who had been passed over on the search for an apprentice) usurped the position as Leader of the tribe and chased Jaidar out of town (they would've killed him, but he had druidcraft to help him get away).

One day he will return and re-establish the old ways, but for now he is an exile, a criminal, and a pirate (and so is his pet raccoon).

So, to get the point of the story, he's Wild Elf... and he can speak common, but regards it as inordinately primitive and gutteral. He'll use it if he absolutely has to, but speaks it as though it leaves a nasty taste in his mouth.

In fact, Jaidar isn't even his real (Elvish) name... it's his name translated into Common. He won't let humans sully his real name with their terrible pronunciation. :) That irritates the other PC's, who can't speak Elvish. So it brings up languages (which are usually glossed over during play) to the fore constantly. :)

Another way he could potentially irritate the other PC's is that I made him so that he won't use any gear he didn't make. So he has Craft(leatherworking), Craft(armorsmithing), and I guess we'll skip Craft(woodworking) in favor of using Warp Wood or Wood Shape to make spears/javelins/etc. He also has Create Wondrous Item, so he is wearing a rabbitskin beltpouch, deerskin leather pants, a bearskin cloak, masterwork leather armor, etc. Since we're at sea, he'll be making sharkskin gloves [of dex], stingray boots [of springing and striding] ("You bought fish boots?"), and other fun oddities...

One word: Entangle.

That has got to be the most annoying level 1 spell in exsistance.

Also severely overpowered for its level. I fail to see how forcing everyone to make a DC 20 check every single round as a full round action is equal to Magic Missile's 1d4+1 damage.

WildShape + Imagination

Whilst trecking across plains, turn into an eagle for most of the day, and spot a Monk assassin in long grass trying to sneak up one. (My poor DM spent so long trying to make him nasty....)

Turn into a monkey to break into a house.

Turn into a boa-constrictor to capture a fanatical cleric alive.

Turn into a Raven whilst trecking across mountains, then turn into a penguin and play in the snow whilst waiting for the rest of the party to turn up.

Who needs spells, skills or feats? I can turn into almost any animal I like. :)

this really happened when i was Dming:
Druid:Ok, i look for a squirril to talk to!
Me:Ok, make a search check.
Druid:Yes a 15!
Me:Ok you find a squirril. Make a language check.(was actually to see if the squirril was boring him or not)
Druid: yes a 10!
Me: Ok the samuri hears somthing.
Samuri(shroom person): what do i hear?
Me: u hear some orcs wispering. they see you spying and attack your party.
Druid: I'll take care of them! I attack them with my scimmy.
Me: make a language check!

It went on like this for a while till he found out the squirril wouldn't shut up!
every one was mad cause he was the only spellcaster besides the bard, but i mean it was a bard what go could he do?
