I've often had to stop and think, how does it affect someone to have a supernatural charisma?

In a campaign of mine Elves are somewhat different from the norm that they get +2 Cha, +2 Dex, -2 Str and Con (and yada yada). They are also a slave race. An NPC in this campaign's background is that he was a...favorite...possession of a queen before he was recently rescued after what looked like a failing escape attempt. Any thoughts on how this might shape his personality, outlook, etc.?

The one thing you can say for sure is that the elf knew how to please his mistress, so reflect this in his mind-set. Did he have to hide his true motivations and ideas at all times? Was he a slave used for social gatherings, private service or both?

Both, though he was mostly an ornament/personal valet type at social gatherings, and generally yes -- he actually loathed his mistress. He was very used to (though highly resentful of) being 'kept', so no idea how to survive in the wilderness or a city. He managed to become barely affiliated with a mystery cult thanks to the other slaves of the household, but naturally all he could do was learn it from them, not be involved in rituals or anything of the like.
