While the "awaken" spell would be the most logical option to give it speech and intelligence, but it does not allow the cat to weild weapons or stand on 2 legs. I would like to know if there is a template or creature out there that allows for what is essentially a Cat to become a playable race? I was thinking for another creature to polymorph into a biped cat, but thats not really the same thing... if anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated. |

Unless you wanted to be diminutive and weild a longsword that would deal 1 point of damage. It would be fun to make a rogue though. A true cat burglar. You may be onto something there. Just make a gnomish alchemist and make the potion that would do what you specify. Then give it to your cat and ask if you can switch characters. |

| Deathcow3801-06-07, 11:54 PM | Cat rogue for the win! Although, housecats in DnD are plenty dangerous anyway, aren't they? Statistically, yer average housecat dishes out enough damage to take out an entire family of commoners in about three rounds flat. |

| crow0401-07-07, 10:04 PM | ther is also the tibbit from "The Dragon Compedium" they are cats that have learned to shapeshift into humanoids after generations of being used as familars. |
| radioactiveman01-11-07, 02:41 AM | the anthormorphic cat is PERFECT... thank you EVERYONE... rogue/swash/duelist with sneak attack... awesom! |

We had someone play as one in an old game. Spent most of his time at the temple of Sharess getting worshipped. He couldn't shake the name Squishy. |

Don't forget the "Feline" player character race from "Star Munchkin D20" (By SJ Games). They're pretty interesting. |

| spyone03-04-07, 10:45 AM | You have too many letters in the title, and that apparently changed it into a word you may not post. The character's name (and the name of the story he's from) is "Puss in Boots", which should post fine. |
