zioth 05-17-07, 01:18 PM	The Communal Character I recently made a similar post in the "What's a Player to Do?" board, and it's going very well. But I want to see what kind of character this board can come up with. I want to create a character using this board. Other people have tried this. They had a days-long voting period for each aspect of the character, which just looked boring to me. So I want to do this the fast way. Rules: Each poster gets to determine one aspect of the character. A poster may determine a second aspect only if at least four posts have been written since the last time, or if no one's posted in 8 hours. Aspects must be selected in the order listed below. For example, the first poster chooses the race and class, the second chooses age, etc. If, due to slow posting, two posters make choices about the same aspect, only the first one counts. The second poster should politely delete his or her post. Only the following sources are allowed: PHB, DMG and MM 1. This is a first-level character. Try to make this a character someone might actually want to play. :) Aspects to choose: Race and Class (level 1) Age at the time he or she starts adventuring Alignment (should not be evil) Name Physical description Basic personality Any number of personality quirks, or additional personality notes Attributes, using 30-point buy. Skills and Feats Abilities, animal companion, familiar, known spells or standard prepared spells (skip if not applicable) Starting Equipment History: The character as a youth History: The character as a teenager (if applicable) History: The character as a young adult (if applicable) History: The character as an adult (if applicable) History: The character's first adventure. You may assign an arbitrary number of experience points for completion of the adventure, and level up the character if applicable. Repeat the previous step for as long as people are interested. Tends to think others are insulting her (especially her height or battle prowess) no matter what they say. Additional Personality Notes: Secretly wishes she were taller, is very interested in gaining access to some sort of permenant Enlarge spell. Uses weapons that are oversized for her, to show that she is just as capable as those bigger than her.
