Cliff note version. Input welcome. Against his family's wishes a well educated noble's son tries to join a healer's temple when his kid sister is saved by a wandering priest of the diety. The young noble was denied entrance into the priesthood so he joined the temple's guards which only added insult to injury to his family. However he takes his job seriously and studies to learn the religion and of any potential threats (demons/devils etc...) After years of service he faced down a giant while defending a group of novice priests and priestesses. He was on his last legs in spite of the many healers. With a burst of desparation he manifested a psionic Enlarge to even the fight against the creature. He woke up from a coma weeks later as a hero but with strange powers he could not understand. (1st level Psychic Warrior) In his world Psionics are virtually unknown. With no training other then what he read in books as a child he is using his new powers to be the protector of his goddess' pacifistic clergy and anyone else who cannot or will not fight. He practices continually by trying to manifest new powers to suit his current needs like "Summon Ale" or polymorph on annoying friends and party members. He will take expanded Knowledge Psionic Dismissal at 11th(soonest possible).
