Savras 08-12-03, 05:38 PM	So, I'm going to have a Pirate NPC to vex, frighten and madden my players (he'll be neutral, but... well, you'll have to see his full writeup). What I need now is "Pirate-Speak"- I've got Savy? from PotC-CotBP (the idea for the pirate NPC dates to well before this film, though). I also got Walk the plank!, Land Ahoy, Shiver me timber, and that's that. Anyone got more? Thanks! Theocracity 08-12-03, 06:11 PM	So a pirate walks into a bar, with a large steering wheel stuck in the front of his pants. A guy notices it and says, "Hey, what's that steering wheel doing in your pants?" The pirate responds, "Arrr, it's driving me nuts!"

TinySilverChalice 08-12-03, 11:39 PM	Well, pirates often use boat vocab, like starboard and such. They go to the head, not the privy. And for some reason our DM's ship captains always talk about his "hardened seamen" crew.
