Well.. a world made up of water and Islands... and the campaign will be half on sea and half on land... ish. Well, I decided that I wanted to create a character based off of Tia Doma from Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End and so I decided on an Aquatic Druid. I was kind of wondering what I should do to flesh her out more... Should I keep her straight druid or prestige out into something else... I would prefer to stick with her as she is in Dead Man's Chest and the beginning of World's End not so much after the plot runs off more about her because well... I don't think that would be as much to play. She will not so much be exactly like Tia Doma but more inspired. I was thinking she would wear clothing constructed from seaweed, sails from ships that were wrecked, and I think also a fishing net that could have some sort of sentimental value for her. In her hair are random shells and the dried bodies of starfish or similar creatures that were out of the water for too long. At least for a physical appearance that is how she would be. I would try to run it past my DM to get her access to Augury and other divination spells and I really just want her to be creepy, knowing, and the sort that realizes that she has to rely on others to get to her goals but also makes it so they have to rely on her. Most likely for an animal companion, she will choose a squid. The reason why I was asking about the whole prestige class thing is because I don't necessarily want an optimal character but a flavorful one. That's all I can think of for now, thank you for your assistance. |
