There was once a ninja-cadet who was stronger in wit than physical skil, and thus was sent on a serveying mission in order to map out the landscape. He got lost, as he wasn't so good with navigation. He eventually stumbled into the Underdark, where he lived for nearly a month on only crappy luminous mushrooms, and was eventually found and subdued by a small group of hunting Illithids. They took him back to their city, and after probing his mind found that he possessed a keener intellect than most humans. So, they selected him for ceremorphosis. Somehow, through some twist of fate his personality survived the ceremorphosis. He still had the same mind, but no memories and the body of an Illithid. The only things he remembered were his name, a very vague outline of his previous mission, and (don't mean to copy) a woman's face. In any case, he got out as soon as he could, guessing that his new 'friends' wouldn't take so kindly to his human brain. He now wanders, with a fragmented memory and a face that could scare a lich. What do you guys think of that story? He also still needs a name, preferably something ninja-ish, like Koji. |
| Need_A_Life05-10-06, 04:11 PM | Okay, I like the idea. The mission could be "eliminate the person who murdered [fill out the blank]" and the womans face is just that person, even if your character doesn't realize it. For a name: http://www.20000-names.com/ |

The Adversary has retained enough of its original mind to dominate the Illithid portion, and works to destroy the Mind Flayers. Illithids tell it to young Illithids to scare them. |
