A good well rounded back round for a ninja [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-05-06, 12:04 PM Ok so far my character back talks drow, respects bards an the poor, gets drunk, loves money, is an extremely efficient killer yet dose not like to kill, and will not kill innocents. Has actually put his life on the line once for a drow he supposedly hated.

He changes his name allot thought his real name is unknown and has “connections in every town.” but works neither for nor with any specific group. He has a symbol that looks like a rain drop on all his weapons and an arm band. Is implied has no direct living relations .It is also implied that he dose have some sort of love life that the party dose not know about and that the other is still alive.

Also he was turned in to a catfolk (originally human) by one of Neral’s disciples (directly ordered by Neral to do this.) And was told by this disciple that he along with the 4 others party members were the “chosen ones.” So far Dan a wizard/cleric is the only chosen with a known deity being Neral chosen. religion is that of Odimm...

10-06-06, 02:54 AM I agree with Lord Karsus and there are only a few questions that arise from your introduction:

1) How did his family die?
2) What is his symbol? (i.e. background, possible significance, how well known it is, etc)
3) What will he do to keep his past / true identity hidden?
and 4) Why did he save the drow, is drow-hating merely superficial?
