Disclaimer: THis is my first time using the CHaracter boards...

So I'm joining my brother's campaing later today, and I've got an idea for a character. THe shor t of it is this: THis guy is the living incarnation/chosen one of Olidammara, the god of Rogues. So I've got little more than a name and a concept at this point, although I'll probably have to build him to level 4 in order to join the campaign, but that belongs in the optimization thread I believe.

So, I need a story-line for one thing. I know he's going to be a fairly charismatic for one of my chracters, and he's going to wear that trippy mask from the player's handbook. Other than that, I'm just looking for suggestions right now. Sorry if I'm a bit vague, but here's all the info I have.

Name: Dammarus Olimarr
Age: 18-19
Height: Not determined
Weight: Not determined
Class: Rogue (May multi-class to Alchemist or something later)

One, is he a seperate person with the powers/aura of Ollidamara or is he Ollidamara in human form? If he is Ollidamara dig up as much as you can on his personality, if not how does his personality conflict with the personality of Ollidamara?

Who were his parents and why were they "blessed" (depending on your point of veiw) wit bearing a child infused with aspects of the trickster/theif god. What sort of problems did this cause. Why did he start adventuring? Did he get in trouble and was kicked out?

Just some thoughs

Oh, here is a good one.
His father was a beggar that tricked a noble woman into having sex with him.
Oli was so impressed with how he went about it that he imbued the child with some of his power :P

For one, he is a separate entity, and I'm not sure yet whether or not he's condoned by the master thief himself. It may just be an amusement of his that he's taken on the name and title.

I've never really made a character with depth before for D&D. Various RP sequences with a friend of mine have spawned many a memorable char, but not statted for gameplay.

I'm not even sure why I'm putting him together as I don't really have a roleplaying group to play with, but I guess it's nice to have a few good chars in store.

I'm not good with childhood stories for some reason, maybe Ibecause I'm technically still a kid. But anyway.
