My character is a 4th (almost 5th) level Half-Elf Bard, so my spells are based on Charisma, but in the book (Player's Handbook, Chapter 1: Abillities) I forgot about my bonus spells for a long time, and it doesn't say much in the book about bonus spells.
My question is:
Are bonus spells for:
A) The spells known
B) Spells per day
C) Both

This isn't urgent but I'm just curious because for now I counted it as spells known, but I am still not sure.

Like other spellcasters, a sorcerer can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. His base daily spell allotment is given on Table: The Sorcerer. In addition, he receives bonus spells per day if he has a high Charisma score.

A sorcerer’s selection of spells is extremely limited. A sorcerer begins play knowing four 0-level spells and two 1st-level spells of your choice. At each new sorcerer level, he gains one or more new spells, as indicated on Table: Sorcerer Spells Known. (Unlike spells per day, the number of spells a sorcerer knows is not affected by his Charisma score; the numbers on Table: Sorcerer Spells Known are fixed.)

This can be also found in the PHB under the spells paragraph in the Sorcerer's Bard's class info.

EDIT: I experienced a brain fart, and forgot you said you were a Bard, not a Sorcerer. However, the principal is still the same.

Thanks for clearing that out. :)
Now I need to think of ways to be close to monsters without being knocked out... (Lame 15 AC...)
