| TheMightyMcClaw05-19-05, 02:18 PM | I've been playing Shadow Hearts: Covenent, and I've been inspired by how incredibly awesome the character of Joachim/Grand Papillion is (for those of you who haven't played it, he's a Vampire, a Superhero, and a professional wrestler all at once). I wanted to try and create a similar "masked superhero" as a D&D character. I'd probably go more along the lines of a swashbuckler, in the tradition of the likes of Zorro and the Scarlet Pimpernel. I don't have a whole character concept, but here are some of the ideas I've gotten so far.... -He will wear a little black Robin-mask at all times, probably accompanied by a massive feathered hat. -There are only two ways in which he will ever enter a room: in a puff of smoke, or playing a guitar on a high precipice. -He fights for Peace, Happiness, and JUSTICE FOR TRUE LOVE! I'm thinking of making him a swashbuckler/ninja (a really hilarious yet effective class combination), maybe add in some bard in there. I want to make him an extremely flamboyant, melodramatic character. I'm considering giving him an alter ego, probably some relaxed and mild-mannered fop.... who is of course, secretly an outlandish super-fop. Thing is, I still can't think of a good name. I was thinking of something with the word "Vermillion" in it (The Vermillion Hawk, the Vermillion Fox, etc.) because it sounds cool, but I really don't know. Any ideas or reactions are welcome.... |
