DTemplar5 05-22-05, 03:28 AM	Allow me to put some background for the character (a key NPC) and I want to ask for what powers a person like this would use. Name: Arya Kelia Occupation: Princess, Heir to the Throne Race: Vampire (Human) (custom type vampire- check Races forum. A Different Type of Vampire) Class: (Psion(Telepath) or Wilder) 5 Alignment: N (formerally Neutral Evil) Arya was groomed to rule the city, Kelm. Her father, Vexindar Kelia, had created this utopia (see distopia) for her to rule as she pleases- as he tires of ruling, and desires to learn more of the secrets of the mind. Arya was not nessessarily born as normal creatures are. Vexindar was human, through and through. He took a powerful vampire's body and altered it with his own genetics to create Arya- the first born Vampire. And unlike many Vampires, she wasn't as powerful...physically, at least. Her psionic abilities with manipulating the mind were great. She seemed to be a perfect ruler for the perfect city. The real problem was, that Arya didn't care. All she wanted to do was mate and drink blood. She just didn't care too much about ruling herself- and Vexindar didn't want to be distrubed about his city- so he cast her into a portal, sending her to a world were she would learn how to care, or at least get a sence of duty... ------------- I'd like to know what kind of psionic class she would be, as well as what powers she would likely to have on her. It wouldn't hurt to have suggestions on equipment as well. I probrobly have left some important things out, but I'm really worn out, and lazy, so ask if I left something important out. Thanks.

I always though she'd be someone groomed to rule- but isn't interested. Sure, she'd have some mind-messing powers- but I want to know if it would be better flavor-wise for her to be a Wilder or Psion (Telepath)- as well as what kind of powers she would have (aside from the usual Telepathic abilities). She's just an idea I'm tossing around as an NPC for a game I'm running- so optimizing her isn't nessessary.
Need_A_Life 05-25-05, 04:19 PM	Everything points to Psion if you don't mind me saying so... The real problem was, that Arya didn't care. Wilders are passionate, they get their powers from it. Psions are like wizards; most don't give a damn about the rest of the world. Nightglow Family Stats: +4 Int Abilties: Naturally Psionic (2 pp), Suggestion, Psionic 3/day, Energy Burst 1/day Manefester Level HD Alignment: Usually Neutral Favored Class: Psion (Telepath) Psions benefit from a high Intelligence, they are the FAVORED CLASS of the family. Let me see that's: Wilder 0, Psion 3. I probably even missed a little.
