I'm toying with the idea of a character with some abberant feats, and I'm wondering other's opinions how these feats play into a character's storyline.

the one I played was a human, a failed attempt at creating an Elan (greater psionics handbook)

Thus, his aberration side was quite proeminent :) It was not a very serious campaign, so the morning after level up, in the mirror "hey new tentacles !"
[had all the feats... yuk]

This is a short description of one of my abberant characters, Ash Mantle...

"Cursed from birth by a spell caster to forever be an abomination, Ash now wanders the world, seeking to embrace his aberrant qualities and gain from them."

He worshiped Kossuth, and sought to grow in power, not looking at his abberant feats as a curse, but as a tool... Regardless of how he perceived his own qualities, he hated spellcasters very much.

At leveling up, he would reel in pain as new abberant features would surface...

Adventuring Party: Hooray! We're level three! New feats for everyone!
Ash: OH MY GOD WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? ::writhes in pain on the ground::
Adventurers: Ash, are you oka--- HOLY S*** YOU'VE GOT FRICKEN TENTACLES COMING OUT OF YOUR CHEST!

I think I have my storyline worked out. A very brief overview (because this is a rough draft thought up as I typed this) of a character without a name except Thrall(if someone can give me an Uncommon translation, I'd be very appreciative):

Born to an Illuskan mother who's been enslaved in the Underdark since she herself was a young girl, Thrall lived the life of a bodyguard since he has been able to hold a kukri. Another duty to climb the rockwalls to check for ambushes. The thin film of a mucusy slime made him well suited for this task. He has killed many an abberation, dark elf, grey dwarf, and any other Underdark race.
When his captor ventured too close to Skullport, the followers of Eilistraee several dark elf slaves from the illithid trader and he escaped in the chaos. Although his mother died in the conflict, he made it to the surface, which was always a dream of his...until he realized how much he stood out.
He towers 7'3'' (Jotunbrud), is extremely pale from the lack of sunlight, and his fingers are constantly sticking (Abberant Blood: Sticky Fingers) to things they shouldn't, like other people's property. He lives in the Docks Ward, hiding as much as he can from the public and brawling as much as he needs to survive. He has aquired a fondess of taking powerful swings (Power Attack) with a club.
