Benrodyr Naillo, my staple character. First I made in 3.0, recently converted to 3.5 and updated I want to play him again, but I have a question regarding his alignment. More information on Benrodyr Naillo can be found here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=4420123&postcount=58)

Background: A true adventurer at heart, Benrodyr Naillo left his elven home to travel the worlds and planes, to seek thrills and adventures, and leading the way was his older brother, a paladin of the elven gods and a fellow halfbreed. Both excellent fighters, they were ambushed by a pack of wargs and their goblin spearmen and Benrodyr's brother died. It was in that moment a psionic spark ignited into an outright flame and Benrodyr annihilated the evil humanoids and scattered their beasts. After returning to his home long enough to deliver the body of his sibling and attend the buriel ceremony, Benrodyr set out with a band of adventurers to again seek a life of adventure. He eventually returned home though, having realized his attraction for a childhood love, and the two married soon after his return. Soon after their marriage, Benrodyr and his lover were attacked suddenly by an illithid raiding party, where his wife and unborn child were viciously slain before his eyes. Since then the half-elf has harbored an intense loathing and hatred for the mind flayers and he spent the next decade rampaging against them before finally regaining his wits and returning home once more to grieve and meditate. Since his third farewell to home, with a vow never to return, Benrodyr Naillo has seen countless adventures and adventuring bands and has seen many worlds and planes. He loves to travel and is more at home on the road then in any city.

I have him listed as Chaotic Good for now, although that was his "starting" alignment at level one you could say. However, after all that's happened he's lost a lot of that goodness and while still willing to help out (thus his adventuring and wonderlust) I'm tempted to keep him at Chaotic Good. Just because he's a shade close to that then true neutral (he is a ghostwalker). What do you all think?

I think that CG is fine, but NG would also work. However, there was not a lot to go on, that would define alignment strongly one way or another. So, perhaps there are some other questions you could answer:

Has the character ever stolen anything?
Does the character kill inocents?
Does the character give a trial or chance to the condemned?
Does the character pocket all loot?
Does the character give freely?
Does the character prefer to travel alone or in groups?
Does the character donate to a temple or worship regularly? If so, what is the alignment of the deity?
What does the character think of the rulers of the land?
If there was a law he disagreed with, would he break it, accept it, or try to change it?
