| Super_Demolition_Christ10-11-05, 02:42 PM | yea, I dont know how to spell his name, want to fight about it. Anyways, I was wondering if there was much info in official books that could help me go about making a perminantely animated suit of fullplate(that I could wear from time to time) become an intelligent companion, or even my familiar. Mainly need help with the familiar thing. |
| Vapthorne10-11-05, 03:11 PM | See Item Familar in Unearthed Arcana if you have it. If not, see Intelligent Items in the DMG. Then get Permancy + Animated Object casted on the armor. |

| sfurtwangler10-21-05, 02:09 PM | You can't wear warforged, though. And animated objects only move as the caster directs them to. I would have to say that an intelligent item familiar, who maybe has its own animate objects power is about the only way I see this happening. |
| obrysii10-21-05, 02:56 PM | If you Awaken the animated suit of armor (as per Awaken Construct in Savage Speices)...then it'll act as anything with a free will and intelligence will. |
| Elvis Gone Warlock10-21-05, 03:00 PM | That seems best to me...and maybe your DM would allow it as your cohort (if you have leadership) or familiar (if you don't). |
