| Minileed12-29-04, 03:31 PM | Greetings everyone. My gaming group has decided that we'd like to play in the City of the Spider Queen adventure, and are interested in creating a hook of our own, to get the DM off the hook, so to speak, in that regard. We've created the basics of our party, which include a fighter, a barbarian, an arcane trickster, and a cleric. The cleric and the barbarian are both followers of Tempus, the fighter and trickster aren't currently committed to a specific deity. We've talked about the way our party should work, and we came up with the premise that our group has long defended a coastal town from invasion, and at this point in our career, are mostly satisfied with what we've done, and we all want a break from the tedium of adventure. A fifth member of our party, however (one who isn't played by any of us, an NPC I guess) has heard news of this city under constant raids from Drow. We're not interested in going out of our way, and would rather rest on our laurels. He decides to go off without us, disappointed in our reaction as he still thirsts for adventure and seeks to serve the better good. He gets killed during a raid, and word of his death reaches each of us individually, as we've mostly split up by this time to spend our fortune or what have you. Now we'll all have a reason to be upset, a sense of guilt and duty to get back together and avenge our fallen comrade, but I'm sure there could be much more history in our group's past, as well as some interesting personal interactions between characters. If folks have any recommendations, comments, concerns or critiques, I'd be anxious to hear them and share them with my group as we build our party. |

Is there any chance of ressurecting the dead party member? Are any of the characters from the same town? If so, did they grow up together? How did the party first get together? How did word reach you about your friend's death? Why did your character start adventuring in the first place? Do the characters have any peculiar quirks? Did the dead party member have any memorable traits? Any memorable adventurers/misadventures/stories? Lots of fun roleplaying to be made out of "Do you remember when Tristan..." Works for all the characters, actually. How long has the party been apart? What were they doing during that time? |

She is not good yet your party is forced to trust her in order to obtain more information on the fallen memebr. Here is the link if you want to check her out. I will also give the information of her companion, Blink, the displcer beast. Its kind of an interesting character that I am using to generate a full party. If you like, let me know, if not oh well.
