An npc like Skip [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-27-07, 11:48 AM To anyone who hasnt watched Angel, you probably wont know who he is, to those of you who do, you can skip (hehe) the next paragraph.

Skip is a demon (not always a bad thing in the angel universe) who is totally easy going, quite talkative, unflappable and pretty much all knowing. He is humanoid in form (2 arms & legs, a torso and head) but he is instantly recognisable as a non-human, with nasty spikes and grey armored plating (if you want a pic of him, go to wikipedia and put in Skip - buffyverse... sorry, i dont know how to direct link with this thing :()

Anyway, im looking to create an npc such as this on one of my games. Something that looks totally evil and demonic, but is quite chatty and plesant to be around. I dont want him to be some overly big and aloof creature either... dragons already fit that role. This guy has to be down to earth, an every-day guy, but knowledgeable.

Does anyone have any sort of an idea as to what sort of creature this would be?

So far all i can come up with is a wizard(and/or)archivist, half-fiend.

Alignment wise he would probably be neutral, or even good.

07-27-07, 02:54 PM Sounds to me like some kind of hellbred [fiendish codex 2], those who have repented their demonic sins, outerly demonic but inwardly good

Hellbred isn't a template. It's just a race. They're humanoids with the (hellbred) subtype, with their own racial traits. Presumably, they could be reincarnations of humanoids of any race.
