First off, I'll welcome myself back after about a year without being here, nor playing due to military services.

Now, my dm told me that he is about to start a new campaign, in a homebrew world.. a really serious campaign. heavy rpg-ing.

Now, I have decided to play a "fallen" paladin.

He is a man of mystery, amnesia, he remembers nothing from before he is encountered by the party, not even his own name, all he owns is the clothes on his back and a finely crafted broadsword (a soldiers sword, finely made but little in the way of decorations).

I've sent a suggestion to the dm on how the party encounters him, floating down a river, almost dead, unconcious, salvaged for everything of any worth, (ie no armour, money and so on) but his sword, which he holds feverishly tight in one of his hands. he'll be floating down the river "isildur style", with 2 black feathered arrows in his back. he was presumed dead and dumped in the river. (note that this suggestion hasn't been OKed yet..

Now, I've been wracking my brain on ideas on how to play him. my dm and I have allready decided that I will take every other class fighter and paladin. I will not be able to use ANY paladin abilities on "command" untill he regains his memory and atones for his sin(s) (around lvl 10). the only thing that will be used is "detect evil" that the dm will decide when it kicks in so to speak,..
