| DragonLich03-04-07, 01:13 PM | I put this thread here first and foremost because it seemed like a logical place to put it; I'm trying to find the party that is the most creative thus using your skills to make is such. Something that will cover all the bases (fighter, arcane, divine (with healing), and maybe a skill monkey), yet something cooler then this. What would be the party to do this. It can have more then these four. I was thinking warblade, artificer, cleric, and a dervish but that's still laking. They can have any PrCs and multiclasse's, I just want to see a fun party. |
| Lhiannon Sidhe03-04-07, 06:26 PM | Dwarf Fighter, Elf Wizard, Halfling Theif, Human Cleric. Can't go wrong with tradition. |
| Prator_the_Legendary03-04-07, 08:21 PM | Human binder (multitasker), bard (multitasker and skill monkey), spellthief (multitasking skill monkey), and Favored Soul (healer). Binders can be good fighters, but they can also be good at almost anything else. Bards can do anything decently. Spellthieves combine the good parts of a rogue and a spellcaster, and the favored soul heals. It's perfect! Give the bard AND the spellthief enough ranks in Use Magic Device and you've basically got a partyful of people that, individually, can do almost anything, and can collectively kick serious ass. |
| fiendish_platypus03-05-07, 07:50 AM | Warforged Artificer (Takes arcane roll), Changeling Rogue/ Chameleon or Exemplar, Halfling Healer (Mark of Healing), Human Fighter |
| OneWinged4ngel03-08-07, 03:29 AM | Dwarf Fighter, Elf Wizard, Halfling Theif, Human Cleric. Can't go wrong with tradition. Except, of course, the Cleric (and potentially the Wizard too) are much better frontliners than the poor dwarf. |
| grasharm03-08-07, 10:27 AM | I'm going to skip the obvious answer of "The one that everyone has the most fun in" and go into a mechanical one sorta Your non traditional fillers for party roles at mid to high level. Tank: Bonded Summoner - Elemental is a great tank esp. the earth elemental and esp. with the mage just blowing buffs off to make it better and better. Arcane Blaster/ skill monkey first half: A Swordsage/Crusader Combo works surprisingly well here. You will never reach the pure dmg. potential of a wiz./ sor. but with manuvers like shadow garrot, Fan the Flames and death mark and the crusader reload method so you never actually have to waste any action reloading it could work fairly well. Arcane Utility/ Skill monkey second half: Beguiler, Nuff said. Healer (non-divine) - Tough one. Okay here we go for super rare breed. I could make it easy on myself and say bard but... Wizard 3/ Incarnate 2 / Soulcaster 10 with the shadowcreature template to add fast healing to yourself so you don't have to waste healing on yourself. and finish off with Alchemist for cheap healing potions. Take Arcane disciple at frist with wizard and pick up the healing domain Mem enhancer after battle to rememorize those cure seriuos and cure lights. And lifebound mantle with soulborn and heal away by hurting yourself and regen. it with your fast healing. Heh that one hurt. There you go. Not the best party but it should cover all the basics. Alot of arcane in there though (3 out of 4). |
