I've got a character at lvl 1 now, a Aasimar Fighter, but will end up as 10fgt/10bard. I'm not too worried about the numbers, so unless you have a really good idea that would require X-number of lvls in either of those two classes, id appreciate just ideas on the RP side of it. Quick BG. Son of a wealthy, merchant, non-noble family. Has approximately the same amount of financial security as you low-mid noble family, just is not located in a metropolitan area to throw their weight around. They have a large compound outside of a medium size city. The family values aesthetic beauty above all things, including money, which comes in a distant 2nd. The character himself is an aasimar, though the rest of the family is entirely human. He has natural ability to sing (Perform) despite his fighter beginnings, and has full CC ranks in diplomacy and can speak a number of languages. He also uses a war hammer. As an aasimar, he'll eventually take Celestial Bloodline and Outsider Wings, and will pretty much become something just short of an Angel. He's chaotic good, and is a member of a Heroes Guild, that is sort of a cross between the Harpers and the Fantastic Four (more than 4 members tho), in that they work throughout the world to promote good, by investigating problems and dealing with them, or exploring uncharted areas for documentation. I run into a problem with him being viewed largely like an angel and he looks roughly like Thor (the Marvel comics version). Every angelic character i've ever seen seems to bend much more towards a Lawful Good status, serving their God/Goddess dutifully, and the Tome Archons in BoED are all LG, which i cannot be as a bard. I need some help/ideas on how the guy can be sort of this paragon of goodness, and still be a little bit of a roguish personality. I dont mean stealing and lying, but being a prankster or jokester, occasionally having harmless fun at another's expense. CAN the two be combined into a fun-loving character that can go out and paint the town red, and still be looked at as the angel-type? He's not very much like elves, except the love of music and art, so the Eladrins dont do much to help me. Could also use the following: - Unique type of magical warhammer, and any special name you have for it - any other useful feats you think can compliment the whole package (work with almost any book, just not FR specific stuff since this is somewhat of a homebrew). if you do make a reference to a feat or class, plz let me know where you got it from. - skills you think he should have to add to the image. - anything else you'd like to add to make this guy shine. (mannerisms, catch-phrases, battle cry, song names, a Title he can get, like So-n-So the Gold) Any feedback is most welcome.
