That Wisdom makes me think he's made a few bad choices in life. Perhaps he has a gambling habit? Does he owe money to a Thieves' Guild, which has forced him into a life of ... non rangering?

The trick for a memorable backstory and personality is to think of it before you stat your character. But since it is already done...

Emium was a young man living in a small town, near the forest. He used to be an active child (high physical stats and skills)and an independent spirit. Bull headed (Iron Will), with a tendency to speak is mind in the worst possible times (low wisdom) he loved playing in the forest, and would go camping there alone very often. He didn't dislike company, but the solitary life of a ranger appealed naturally to him.

That's for a start. He might have been raised under the church of Lathander, or he might have found Him later and chosed him to worship because His creed was more than fitting his personality.

The falchion is usually a pretty exotic weapon in most setting. You should find something about how you found this weapon and choose to make it yours. Treasure? Heritage? Loot?

Rogue levels usually imply some kind of urban adventuring. Your character might have fallen in love with a girl in a city, and stayed with her for a while. She might have been a noblewoman in need for a spy, or a thief who needed a partner. Or you may have owed someone a favor, like a powerful guildmaster, and swore to serve him for one year and one day. Or you might have joined a group of rebels, fighting a tyranic sovereign both in the city and its natural surroundings. If so, you might have won and move on, or better yet, you lost, are wanted accross the land, and decided to keep low profile for a while and thus joined a band of adventurers. It could be a combinations of a few of these possibilities. You might have swore service to a female guildmaster engaged in a rebellion with a tyrannical government and eventually fell in love with her.

Hope I helped.

Hmmmm... In most parts I agree with BlackBert... But I don't really agree with you bying... I think that you should have made your falchion a +1 weapon or bought a mithril shirt instead of a bag of holding... Anyway... You should check the thread named how to create a role-playing character... It's very good for a procedure...

first, the bag of holding is bought with the party, i'm just keeping it..

second, the character as it is, can not be changed, now that it's already played.

third, BlackBart, thx :)
