asimar, natural werebear druid [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-05-04, 02:47 PM I am about to play my first druid, and i thought why not go all the way, and play an asimar natural werebear, but how do you play one, and what would his upbringing have been like?

please help

01-05-04, 04:48 PM I think you may not be able to be a druid. I can't recall the exact entry, but I'm pretty sure werebears are "Always Lawful Good".

Have you considered a Paladin/Ranger?

2) an Aasimar werebear? He's probably regarded himself as an abomination, and attempts to hide his 'gift' if he was raised with normal aasimar. If he was raised by like werebear aasimar, then his people likely warned him of how his 'gift' will be recieved, and he be a little resentful of their fears.

3) Character optimisation.

01-07-04, 03:30 AM I like the last option, you came with winternove, i think i will use that in this charecter.
what about, he is recentfull to all who look at lycanthrope as a curse.

01-07-04, 08:34 AM Maybe his parent is an ursinal and the werebear is a legacy of his celestial forebear?

01-08-04, 06:42 AM Well, IIRC being a werebear requires 3 levels of a PrC, 6 Bear HDs and some LA....
It's all depending on gaming group and houseroules, of course...
But, that being said, and after anpother LA+1 is added for being an aasimar, your spellcasting as a Druid lvl 1 won't do you muuch good at level 12.... (aproximately)
