06-24-05, 06:51 PM I've been working on a character's backstory and have come to an impass.

It is vital to this character that he survived exposure to a massive amount of negative energy at one point in his life, but I have yet to come up with a satisfactory scenario in which such exposure would occur.

If you have any suggestions as to how or why a character might be exposed to a massive amount of negative energy, please do not hesistate to post.

06-24-05, 07:10 PM Hmmmm. The only solution I can think of is an undead attack. A shade,shadow, or wraith would work nicely. They are Powered by negative energy and I assume would give off a fair amount. several strikes by one could send a goodly amount of negative energy through your body

06-25-05, 06:40 AM Sundering a gate to the negative plane of energy? It'd be a good act and it could explode sending ungodly amounts of negative energy in all directions. It should have killed you but someone up there held their hand over you and you survived against all odds.
