But the thing is that I want to go into the dracolyte (draconoicron) prestige class (I like pet dragons :) ) and I need some help coming up with a reasonable justification for being so devoted to dragons. I'm thinking of something along the lines of my character viewing dragons as the pinnacle of intellectual achievement and the perfect prime material plane creature, and he is devoted to that ideal perfection instead of worshipping a dragon god. Does that sound reasonable? |

But for example, I had a chaos gnome that believed firmly in luck and that luck conquered all. Wish the Complete Scoundrel had been out at the time, but alas. So the option you presented sounds perfectly reasonable to me. It all depends on what the DM will allow. |
