I am playing a LN Aventi Swashbuckler, and need some advice.

I am currently 7th level, love flanking, obviously ;) and I would love to get into sneak attak damage.

Would there be arecommendation to take some rogue levels, or should I move into the role of a dread pirate, or something else? I like the Scarlet Corsair, but, alas, alignment is an issue. Advantages, and disadvantages are very welcome.

Currently, I am working aboard a ship, but our group will be doing quite a bit of land based adventuring. We are also located in a frostfell, so cold weather is usualy an issue.

Thanks,

I think this should be in the Optimization Boards and not the development.

I really like the idea of an Aventi Swashbuckler though. The use of Stormwrack and Frostburn is essential, the way I see it.

What's his background btw? I might throw you a couple of ideas if I know more about him.

Well, basically, she left her underwater home in seek of something different. She did not leave due to problems, persay, and she wanted to meet other people and races. She found a man in a harbor town, got a job as a deckhand. She worked hard and was chosen by the captain to be a lead hand, and now she runs the day-to-day operations of the ship. They anchored the ship near land, and her boss went to a town some 10 days away to seek out help with a shipment. We needed more people for protection as we're traversing dangerous waters. I was to meet him 15 days later at the halfway point on his travel back to the boat.

Present:
Now, she will likely join the group after the delivery, as there is no real opportunity for her left on the boat.

I hope to make her a valuable member of the group in and out of combat, using the staple swashbuckler attributes.

I can't decide on how to do that, yet.

Just checked CAdv...

Unfortunately for you, the Dread Pirate has a non-lawful requirement and since you are LN, you cannot qualify for it.

You aren't LG in order to have a small level dip in Paladin, for the Divine Grace and Aura of Courage ability either...

Is it a campaign specific world? FR, Eberron...
What books are allowed?

I didn't think about the alignment of the dread pirate.
ahwell. any ideas then.

it's not world specific, we created it. all books by wizards, and a couple from mongoose.no ebeeron.

It seems that LN was the worst way to start.

LG could have granted you Paladin levels, being able to move on as Knight of the Pearl.

It seems that Scarlet Corsair and Dread Pirate have similar entry requirements as well. mIf you could just turn Neutral...

What weapons are you using? Two Weapon Fighting, or just one light melee weapon? You could become a Tempest or a Dervish...

Dunno, gimme more info.
