Name: Dochero
Race/ Gender/ Age: Awakened DeBrazza’s Monkey/Male/14ish
Alignment: C/G
Religion: Haven’t decided yet, but nature goddess sounds good
Single Defining Class: Sorcerer
Description: Brown coated with a white looking mustache and beard. Standing about 22 inches tall he is not an imposing figure unless threatened when he will show fangs and bellow loudly. He does wear a nice leather backpack (spell component pouch) and is not averse to wearing bracelets and or bracers as long as he feels they will be stylish.
Greatest Strength: Not generally thought of as a threat and can get close to his targets without being noticed.
Greatest Weakness: Being taken seriously as a monkey is hard; also pronouncing words is a bit difficult in stressful situations.
Traits and Mannerisms: Most walking is on four legs, sits up on hind legs while resting. He is well mannered unlike his un-awakened kin. He tries his best to be a refined individual. When traveling through tree areas he prefers to swing through the trees than to walk on the ground as it is faster for him. A staunch vegetarian he will not eat any meat. Not that he can not, he just does not like the thought of eating something which blood has flown through.
Modus Operandi: He feels it is his duty to protect his natural surroundings by unnatural means. Sometimes this takes him out of his regular home in the forests. He has studied much about the royals of the surrounding areas and sees that at times their troubles are tied with his own. So as a secondary ideal he has at times warned guards of impending attack on their territory, especially when that threat has not proven itself kind to his forests. He has no qualms about taking down anyone who is taking from the forest more than they need. He will first send them warning and try to scare the offenders away if this fails he will use precision magics to kill the enemy. (no fireballs, they burn the forest too easily.)
Background: He was the animal companion of a Druid/Sorcerer named Dochero. (which is where he took his name from.) The Druid/Soc. died trying to save a small group of friendly merchants. The band of thieves that attacked the merchants started a small forest fire to flush the merchants into an ambush. Dochero, (the druid) tried to both put out the fire and save the group of merchants but it did not happen. He was caught in the fire and burned alive before it could be put under control. This is also the incident where Dochero (the monkey) found he had magical abilities. He was actually the one to finish off the thieves and help get the merchants to safety.
Quote: “And they call me primitive”
Class Arrangement(s): Sorcerer 8
Essential Skills: Climb, Concentrate, Hide, Move Silently
Essential Feats:
Essential Equipment: Leather backpack
Signature Combat Maneuvers: Leaping from branch to branch through the dense tree cover reigning down rays and curses all the while staying mostly out of view.

I am looking for any thoughts or aditionaly ideas that you think would fit. He is sorcerer just because I like them. Also he thinks druids are nobel, but in his mind are not calculating enough to do the real dirty work. That is why he is trying to go the sorcerer path. As of now I do not have stats aproved from my GM, but he will allow the character. This character will eventualy go to a high level, so I was also thinking maybe a cleric/sorcerer into Mystic Theurge. but I dont' know about that yet. you can find lots of pictures of this type of monkey at http://members.tripod.com/uakari/cercopithecus_neglectus.html if you want to check it out. I am open to pretty much any ideas so bring um on.

Well I don't think so. I had no idea who that was, but heh heh that could be an interesting build. Interesting weapon choice as well. Name is just kinda cool, but I don't really want to rip anything off to get my character.

I see that me and Iry had the same thought when we saw the title to this thread.

And I think it'd be better if the Druid/Sorc was a buddhist priest traveling to India.... :P.

Maybe one of us should take responsibility and explain who Son Wukong was.. His description just feels so viscerally like it could fit him. Bedtime for me..
