09-28-04, 09:25 AM Here's the deal: I'm starting in a new campaign in Eberron tonight, and my DM wants character backgrounds from all of us. I have no real idea about the finer details of this setting. If anyone could post some names or ideas, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm playing a rogue from level one, with plans on getting to Invisible Blade. I'm thinking he had some kind of falling from grace with his wealthy family and that's why he has to do what he does for a living.

Basically I need city/regional specifics. Things like names, people, deities, etc... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

09-30-04, 07:50 AM Ok, here it goes;

Bob was born and raised in the Capital Flamekeep of the Thrane Kingdom. He was born into what most people would call a good spot in life, as his familie was a wealthy merchant familie in Thrane, making and exporting fine crafts, and textiles.

A few years ago Bob found evidence that there was an imposter in the Council of Cardinals, and set out to gather evidence of this. However this imposter found out that Bob was on to him, and set a trap for him. Planting evidence that would lead Bob to another council member then the imposter himself. And when Bob approached the council with the planted evidence he had found, it was only to late before he realised his mistake. And as such was exiled from Thrane, and disowned by his familie.

Bob is now traveling around a bit, trying to let the past be the past, bet every once so often he still tryis to figure out who the real imposter was, or even if there were one.

From here you can add or subtract from the story, maby mention that he is now in {where ever the adventure starts, most likely Sharn}. But this should give you the basics of the background.

Tell me if you like it, or if you still need more information.
