backstory for an elven sorcereress [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-16-08, 04:21 AM need a grewhawk shackled city approved backstory for a high elf sorcereress, a reason for a third level sorcereress to adventure, and a backstory. (something other than draconic heritage) someone who loves magic missles and rays of enfeeblement.

03-16-08, 04:45 AM I dunno greyhawk that well but with the spells you've chosen I'd say you have got something of a superiority complex. Perhaps you travel looking for powerful warriors and archer you can show up with your magic?

Having grown up amongst elves who generally value swordplay and archery as the equals of magic you may have been part of a family that prefered those and looked down upon your mystic talents.

1. Elf
2. Female
3. Sorcerer

Using these, she either just plain felt like it, or go look in the PHB where it explains common reasons for elves and sorcerers to go adventuring.

Unless we have some other outline as to what she's like, how you'll play her, and anything you want from her, I suspect we can help much more than that.
