The party is as follows. LG Dwarven Cleric/Warpriest LG Aasimar Paladin/Sorceror CN Halfling Barbarian/Ranger/Rogue CN Gnoll Barbarian (will soon be an assassin) Everyone in the party has an ecl of 8. The halfling and the gnoll have backstories written up already (and intertwining ones at that). The dwarf and the aasimar (me) do not. Basically, we want to have some form of intertwining backstories as well, but we can't really do that until the dwarf's player writes up his backstory. So, I came here to get some ideas for my character. First, what I've got so far. It's a woman who has served Heironeious all her life. Probably raised by the church. At some point she manifested sorcerous powers and started using them to fight the evils of the world. I'm working on the details now, so anything that you can offer would be much appreciated. |

Chances are you met in battle. I'd talk to the player about a story wherein the dwarf worships a war god and loves battle but cares little for causes. You as a paladin could then, impressed by his strength but abhored with his morals, start showing him the horror of war by draggin him about the sights of battles after they have ended. You start teaching him that battle MUST be for a worthy cause as fighting is a cost and not a reward. |
