I have a character who is coming in as a 7th level character. She is a human paragon 1/monk2/Swordsage or Warblade2(haven't decided)/Chameleon 2.

All I have so far is a human female who was raised by Monks of the Red Knight (Goddess of Strategy and Tactics in FR). She was a prodigy trained to use her body and mind as her primary weapon. She is used to hardship, want, and as a survivalist without peer she can be dropped into just about any situation and thrive. Adaptation is her way of life and her mantra.

Attributes: Str 18 Con 15 Dex 16 Int 18 Wis 16 Chr 15 (yes, I rolled these :D )

Appearance: human female with startling blue eyes, scarlet hair, and unusually broad shoulders. Her body is solid and muscular, yet possessing a lean athleticism. Her skin is pale and she isn't particularly attractive, yet her strong features are compelling. there is nothing fragile or girlish about this young woman of about twenty. Amazonian, in the Wonder Woman sense of the word.

Especially for characters that start above first level I like to include a few hooks or details for the character but for some reason I find the juices sort of blocked on this character. Any ideas for my girl?

Thanks in advance

Have you considered multiple, short backstories.
For example: Character was raised by monks and lived the life of an ascetic for years. At a later date she learned of life outside the monostary and took up a second name, sneaking from the monostary out into the streets where she traveled with packs of thieves. Her skills in stealth, great though they may have been after her time in the monostary, were insufficient to keep her from being caught by a master warrior when she tried cutting his purse. She did manage to lie to him convincingly however. She wove to him a story of abandonment to a life on the streets and being forced to scrounge to survive. Taking pity upon her the warrior asked her name and she gave the 3rd name she would carry for the rest of her life. With 3 names already her own she has come to realize that, rather than one person, she can be whomever she chooses and that is a power greater than any sword or spell.

That provides at least one hook (older warrior), maybe two or three (monostary and theives). Plus it puts her on her path to chameleon straight out.

Sort of an Arya Stark lite? I like it.

Thanks
