Ok, well heres the deal. I'm going to be playing a Human Archer type character. Hes going to be agile, swift, and be able to hit a target hundreds of feet away, and I want this to be reflected in my characters story. I think that my DM is going to have the characters be orphans or something like that. And i've never really made a background story or anything like that, so whatever help can be contributed will be greatly apreatiated(spelling?).

I hate to tell you to go other places, but my first thoughts are of Jude Law's character in "Enemy at the Gates"
Also, the orphans angle made me think of Irvine Kineas from Final Fantasy VIII.
He was an excellent marksman and talked a big game, but sometimes the weight of what he was about to do, a single shot changing the course of history, or someone's life was too big for him.
It might be interesting to have a character who could shoot incredibly, but due to some pre-existing issue, is reticent to use their gift.

Or you could go the other way...
if the character is an orphan, maybe they're used to being alone, maybe they became a marksman, a sniper, because they don't need to be with anyone, or rely on anyone in order to do their job. They could see their role as marksman as an extension of their standoffishness, since they don't want to rely on anyone, they don't put themselves in that position.

Just a few ideas.
