ok, this is my character, Aoi Kitsaru's backstory. Tell me what you think.

She was born of the union between Tsuchi Kitsaru and Beowulf Seiatra (before he ascended to godhood). Her mother Tsuchi, continues to be the guild mother of the Teki Megami, the world's forthmost guild of assassins. Most of Aoi's childhood was spent training to enter the guild when she achieved womanhood. Except, Aoi's firey, independant spirit drove her to seek out her father in the continent of Detria. She found passage on a transport ferry to Detria. When she landed, she foudn the Detrian continent much less friendly then she had originally anticipated, and she was forced to enter into the unsavory buisness of prostitution. Months passed, and she slowly grew to hate men more and more, until one day she snapped, killing the man she was currently "servicing," and killing the owner of the brothel. She then fled town, living in a small village and building up a local reputation as an exceptional tracker and hunter, until she heard of a rumor that the man she sought, her father, was currently in the area. Using her considerable leverage in the area, she found him. He acknowledged her as his daughter, and bade her to return to his kingdom at Aelia Eislai, if her travels ever led her to the area, and departed. Her objective completed, Aoi took on the mantle of a bounty hunter at the suggestion of her friend Lia, which led her over the years to amasse a reputation as the most effective and feared bounty hunter in the prime material.

Interesting idea, but if she's trained as an assassin and can work as a great hunter and tracker elsewhere, I'm still lost on why she would have to become a prostitute to survive at any point in her life after she's recieved this training. She can make money with assassination, or live off the land and make money selling things she gathers, like hides to tanners and the like.

yep i find it odd that a woman that not only was trained as an assassin but is (as u say) firey and independant, become a prostitute.
It just make no sense.

What sort of level is this PC? We are talking daughter of a god and connections with the rich and powerful, and widespread reputation. So unless you are starting this PC at 10th level +, the whole thing is way overblown. [It really is anyway, but at least it is not making everything the PC is now doing as petty.]
