| TWG_Prometheus03-22-06, 01:50 AM | I'm starting a new sorcerer character and, although I have some relatively good ideas for their character background, I'm hoping for something with a bit more punch than I've come up with so far. By punch I don't necessarily mean additional drama like a slaughtered family or traumatic background...just something to make it a bit more memorable or special. To that end, I'm looking for some help with 'storming up a few ideas for their background. I'm going to avoid saying what I have going right now in the way of a background to avoid directing the flow of conversation, but remind me and I'll do my best to bring it up later. (Possibly modified by some helpful thoughts?) It's a Greyhawk campaign, and I'm heading toward a gish build for a human sorcerer, with the second level coming in slated to be Paladin. My human bonus feat was Draconic Heritage, and I'm planning on snagging at least Draconic Breath, so ideally their draconic bloodline would be emphasized somewhat. |

Then I'd go for transmutation spells which enhance the character mainly... plus, one or two "Earth-shattering Kaboom!" spells. I guess something like that might work for you, too. |

This long association has linked to two families together. |
