This thread is for the communal construction of characters based on consensus of Character Development forum contributors.

Tongue-twister much?

If the sig is truthful, its an open account, meaning anyone can acess it.

As to why its open, youd have to decipher that convoluted message they put down, fun times.

Seems its just another character display thread.

I think its more of a test. They want to see what happens if they leave an account open for editing by all.

If I posted Thurt D'Dennieth from that account and someone, upon reading it, felt that a change would be appropriate they could make that change in the original post (hopefully with an edit so the original could be seen).

This post seems to be designed to create a communal character. Someone logs in and creates a character and then others edit it until everyone is happy.

As an example I enter the following.

Nux was born into the Black-Ice barbarian tribe from the frozen lands of Hulao in the north. Thinking back, he still can't understand how it is he came to be living in these lands so far south, where it only snows for a few weeks each year. He remembers being raised by the tribal shaman and going off on his vision quest. He remembers vowing to his older brother, the tribes new shaman, that he would not return home until he had appeased the spirits. Still, he hadn't expected the spirits to take him so far from home. He had thought that they would lead him past the mountains, or possibly across the great sea and after that he would return and take his rightful place in the tribe. Instead he has been lead far beyond the mountains, through forests and plains. On his journey he has seen the sprawling cities of the southern humans, the tree towns of the elves and even the underground fortresses of the dwarves. But still the spirits are not done with him. He now stands only a few miles east of the great desert and still the spirits urge him forward. What's more, they have him traveling with a group of "adventurers", the so called "Brotherhood of the Freezing Flame". These fools travel about seeking such wastes as coin and fame, caring nothing for honour of glory. In his darker moments, Nux doubts the spirits will ever let him return home. Surely there is a purpose to the journey the spirits have set him upon, though.

Here in the southern lands he can't help but stand out sometimes. Sometimes it's glaringly obvious: His scarred and muscle-bound arms can lift much more than any of these soft townsfolk and farmers, who wonder at his endurance. Sometimes it's minor things, like asking for the dishes he used to love eating in the north but that are unheard-of here. He never really cared for their odd glances and remarks, so he tries not to draw much attention when there are crowds of people around. It's hard, though, when you can be the butt of cruel jokes - like in the first town he visited. He didn't know how money worked, so he asked a pair of locals. They tried cheating him, but he saw through them - and they suffered broken bones each for their lies. Nux avoids the town of Hurthpine, now, because the locals fear him, even though he wishes none of them ill any longer.

Now someone else can log in as community_poster and edit that post giving Nux a change or adding details that I left out. Alternatively they can create a new character for editing by all in another post.

Because it can be done.

Congratulations Kalai_Eljahn, Khadmus & who ever gave that last reply under the Community Poster account, you've all given completely pointless and hollow answers.

Fine, ill give it a go.

Nice revision Fithero. A few names added and more improtantly less of a quick off-the-top-of-my-head feel with the other additions. Particularly like that change to why he considers the southern humans foolish. Must admit that I didn't give it too much thought at first.

Anyone else got anything to add?

My apologies. May I suggest that this is merely an experiment CP is conducting? It seems quite fond of them, being one itself. ^^
