| IMAL03-22-08, 12:04 AM | So, how would you? Builds don't have to be world-specific. I'm trying to come up with some low-tier baddies to throw at my players. Right now, I've got an NPC Fighter 3/Cleric 3/Divine Agent 3(Manual of the Planes). The following stats are figured before magical items are added. 102 HP Str 18 Dex 15 Con 18 Int 16 Wis 14 Cha 13 Feats: Improved Initiative Exotic Weapons Proficiency (Lajatang) Endurance Diehard Toughness * Power Attack Spell Penetration (* Willing to swap this one out) Mythril Breastplate +Shadowed +Fortification I Masterwork Lajatang +Shocking +Defending Skill points have yet to be distributed for this NPC. I might up his ECL to 10-11ish. Do you guys have any ideas? I don't have any reference material for that area. I do have Sandstorm, but that gives environment-specific classes and feats, not region-specific classes and feats. If you guys have any ideas (or reference material you could refer me to) that would be awesome. |
| Terjon of the Blue Rose03-22-08, 11:13 PM | I assume you mean the guys from stargate? I wouldn't give the Jaffa levels in cleric. Rather I would take one of the PrCs that grant divine abilities for the strongest of the Jaffa. Classes like Divine Crusader or Pious Templar suite the general theme very nicely. If you reach them through scout or rogue then the equipment is probably correct. If you go through fighter or barbarian then shadowed doesn't make much sense. I would drop the shadowed and instead grab something like amulets of nat armor. As far as the lagatang I dunno that its the best translation. Look into the MIC and you should be able to find lances that fire off 1st level spells a few times a day. Longspears with returning and shocking could also create a simliar effect. Just drop the EWP and pick up short hafted. If you want the general theme without trying to be too accurate to the show simply divide them into 2 castes... warriors and assassins (scouts/rogues/etc.) |
