I was just wondering if anybody had some advice on the new character I'm playing in a Greyhawk campaign. Here's what I have so far-

Cade Highill (Though rightfully most folk call him "Stubtoe") was born in the Kron Hills, the son of a clan of localized farmers. Cade's father, Celanil, is a retired Outrider and throughout Cade's childhood entertained the children with stories of his adventures in the wilderness. However, despite this Cade lived a mostly pastoral childhood, acting as a shepherd and bearing all the mannerism occupied with a pastoral life. Time soon came for Cade's coming of age, a large celebration in which young halfling would decide their future profession or go on what was called a "Wondering", in which he would see the world. Inspired by his father's stories and itching to see life beyond the pastures, Cade undertook this "Wondering", leaving the Kron Hills to travel across Oerth.

Taking along only some halfling skiprocks and his shepherd's crook, Cade set out for the world, ending up eventually in Greyhawk. Amazed by the hum-drum and bustle of the city, Cade fell into dire situations, in which he was accused of cheating in a gambling match. Facing an imminent beating from the local ruffians, Cade was assisted by Hermes, a traveling priest of Fharlaghn who calmed the thugs. Curious of Hermes' powers, Cade followed the priest during his short stay in the city, learning little of what he could of Fharlaghn in three days. As Hermes set out to leave, Cade was presented with several parting gifts- a simple wooden holy symbol, a compact prayer book, and a portable altar. Accepting the gifts, Cade became a cleric of Fharlaghn, whom he often mispronounces a "Finger-lickin" and continued journeying.

Cade's personality reflects much of his patoral childhood- he enjoys good food, good drink, and good music. Being naturally drawn to the culinary arts, Cade is an expert in constructing campfire cuisine from even the most rugged of ingredients (though he has a special preference for mushrooms and gnomish honeymead). In addition, the hobbit bears an interesting collection of maps of the places he's visited. Most importantly however, Cade abhors the idea of combat, especially that which ends in death- and will go to great lengths to aid dying humanoids.
