| Thadias01-29-07, 02:04 AM | I'm going to join a running campaign in Forgotten Realms in the next few weeks, but I have one problem: I barely know Waterdeep from Icewind Dale. Exaggeration, but not by much. I had an idea for an Arabian human rogue-type from Calimshan - Jahar ibn Abrugu al-Memnon - but I wasn't sure quite how to flesh out his story. What kind of parentage should he have? Is Memnon even a good city for his birthplace? I know I should read more about this stuff, but Faerun is a LOT to take in. Feel free to offer up any advice you've got. Lawful Neutral, Rogue/Fighter/Dungeon Delver/Tempest (still level 5, and only one level in Fighter, but I've got big futures for this boy!). Yes, he uses a Scimitar. :D |

If you cant afford them, just go to the bookstore and just read the sections of the books tha help you while yr there. p.s. go with dervish from Complete Warrior instead of tempest, its seems pretty flavorful for yr character. |
