Fithero 05-23-06, 07:45 AM	I usually try and give a source for their hexblade curse ability, as in, its intense sorrow, hatred, fear, apathy, lack of a soul etc. Something within them (or something that has been taken away) is just so intense that they are actually able to manifest it and force it onto others. It could be that they tried to be a mage, but mystra (or whatever god of magic) nulled their power for some slight... now all they have is this stunted version of spell casting. Perhaps they were cursed before birth or as a child... the curse is there for that long that it and the character have kinda melded. Whole lot of reasons, these a just a few. Hope they help. Later
