I'm making a Chaotic Good, Human, Warlock. He feels his sole purpose is to hunt down evil and kill it. I can't seem to find a god that really fits him. I was recommended Lathander, but he is specifically against undead and his personality doesn't seem to fit the character. Anyone have any ideas?

P.S. This campaign is set in the Forgotten Realms.

Tempus, the chaotic neutral god of battle, might work. He isn't devoted to fighting any particular foe, but he supports combat in a general sense, which may resonate with your character.

Tyr may work if you focus more on the retribution angle than the legalistic side. You don't match his alignment closely enough to be a cleric, but that doesnt' matter because you're a warlock.

Honestly, unless you already know of the god you want to devote your life to, writing down you character's religion simply to fill in a blank is about as useful as writing down your character's favorite colour.

If you don't like Lathander try Helm or Tyre. Their both guardian gods but Tyr in particular is apposed to evil.

Except in the Forgotten Realms, if you don't have a patron deity, you can't be affected by Raise Dead or Resurrection.

Technically not true... You can choose a diety at the moment of death to avoid the fate of the faithless.
