Ok im making a cat folk character, who is going to be a rogue. i basically want him to be able to talk his way out of anything(stats include: high dex int and cha). but i dont know really what to do for his storyline, or what to do with him after his first few lvls(rogue all the way or diff PrC??). what do you guys think?

Also i might be thinking of puttin on magic blooded for the extra bonus to cha, and the minus to wis might give the char a good fling (low wis means Curiosity , Curiosity means it killed the cat :)

Well, we need some more info, if your just trying to max out your character you should go the the CO boards, theyed be happy to munchkin your character for you.

Now what we need to know for RP reasons is about your world. A few things to know are:

1) How are Cat Folk treated
2) Are they a minority race or a more standard race (like elves, humans etc)
3) Do they live in the big cities or more as nomads/tribes
4) Are they intergrated in any society (Think halflings with humans)
5) What is the goals of your character and Why is your character trying to achive these goals, this is a nice starting point for backgrounds as you can work backwords a bit to most of the fluff stuff.

With out this information all I can say is stick to rogue or prehaps bard since you'll find the higher cha useful.

Where are the catfolks coming from in your campaign? Are they common in cities, or are they from a deep jungle or a different plane? It could help to know that for your background...

As for strait rogue vs PrC, check the character optimization board. The FAQ offers excellent basic builts for each class. Or for flavor, take some levels of ranger with dogfolk as favored ennemy!

I ask the same questions than The_Yellow_Dart_Swinger, it seems we posted simultaneously... :(
