frsst, eye wud lik 2 tanc hukd n foniks 4 teejig mee 2 spel.

Now then. We're nearing the end of my campaign in my little d20 group, and we're about to switch DMs and I'll be a player.

My friend who is about to DM, we'll call him Kevin 'cause that's his name, has his own setting. Something to do with elves being really, really powerful and humans being second-class, or something. The first adventure is going to have us all as level 0, facing down a really, really big orc horde. Like, thousands.

w00t, I guess.

But anyway. For this campaign, I want to play as a Changeling, from Eberron, and I've been told I can. Well, statistically, I've got her down pat. Roleplaying, eh...not so much.

Here's some things I was thinking about for her.
- I want her to be sort of liberal about changing form. Male, female, elf, orc, natural, doesn't matter. I'm looking forward to having her leave the party at some point as, say, an elf, and returning as an orc.
- Easily slides either way, and equally likely to try out hermaphroditic or asexual forms.
- Wants to be able to move through a number of social circles
- Gets a laugh out of confusing people via chapechanging. I picked the Explorer's outfit 'cause I figured that it was the easiest to customize to look like another kind of outfit.
- More focused on trickery then combat or 'thief' skill set.

And, here's some relevant mechanical information about her.

Name: Taya

Other
- Ambidexterity feat
- Speaks common, elven, and dwarven
- (in natural form) 5' 3'' tall, 100 lbs, gray eyes, white hair, gray skin.

Any roleplaying suggestions? How should I approach this character?

changeling who just wants to live in comfort could just pretend to be an elf. you could even fool the party into following you as a superior being who "repented" or was "disillusioned" about her superiority.

also, you could play an intelligent manipulator, hiring the pc's to do tasks you want done your way.
