| rampant10-13-05, 04:04 AM | Sperick (muscles) Thumbledallow Halfling-Ogre Hybrid (template from dragon 313) Ranger/rogue (ranger-rouge if gestalt) weapon thrower build The exact source of baby Sperick's ogre blood was unknown in fact all the halflings knew about him is that he was the only survivor of a dragon raid on a related clan they had been going to meet. Growing up Sperick was easily the biggest of the children fortunately he was easygoing, gentle and kindly. He had little trouble within the halfling community he was born in. In fact he didn't even know he was half ogre, the adults decided not to mention it until he was old enough. That is until one day gathering food for the clan he happened on an injured ogre mage. Knowing little of ogres except for the stories he thought she was some sort of outsider. Using mud and poultices to bind the savage acid burns he managed to wake her and keep her alive until she recovered enough to move. She at first thought he was a young ogre, they were both quite shocked at his identity. I'm not sure wher to go from here, i want sperick to start at least a year or two after this encounter but I can't seem to come up with what happens next The Brothers Scalecloak Tarveck "the stealth ogre" Scalecloak 1/2 Copper Dragon - 1/2 Ogre Half-Dragon Paragon/Rouge/Sorcerer (half-dragon ogre/rouge - Half-dragon Paragon/Sorcerer if gestalt) Rankle "the Copper Smith" Scalecloak 1/2 Copper Dragon - 1/2 Gnome Rogue/Artificer (rouge-Artificer if gestalt) This unusual team is the result of one copper dragon's live it up lifestyle. They were raised by their respected mothers and for a time things seemed to indicate normal lives for these two. Tarveck quickly rose to power in his tribe based on his cunnning intellect and magical might. Rankle had already taken an obsessive interest in artifice, not unusual amongst the gnomes. Things got strange a few years ago when Tarveck got itchy feet and decided to adventure for a while. He left his mate Rakis the ogre mage in charge, and wandered into town disguised as a Half-giant mage using a big cloak to hide hi features. Upon entering the market place he noticed a booth that sold magical gear perfect for starting an adventure. While he was stocking up on wands, a few potions, and a pair of bracers of armor he noticed one of the apprentices was a Half-copper dragon. As the shop was closing for the night Tarvek approached the artificer invisibly and said "is Tarakos the Scale Cloak your father?" the Gnome replied "Yes and these claws will prove that to your gut". "No need craftsman for we are brothers" as the giant revealed himself. Tarveck is a prankster and a sneak. He loves a dramatic entrance, he enjoys looks of consternation over fear. His nature is infectious it turned his entire tribe of ogres into if not peaceful, reasonable hunters and gatherers. The one person immune to his charm and trickery is Rankle. He is a dedicated craftsman and scholar who has spent way to much time sneaking into places he doesn't belong to study magic or tomes he isn't supposed to have. Somehow the two make a devestateting combination in or out of combat, with Tarveck to be the foil to Rankle's dedication and lust for knowledge. seriously any help or suggestions I don't know what to do with these guys, come on just imagining these two is moderatly disturbing |
