| Gurthoron07-11-05, 10:48 AM | Well, I got the Weapons of Legacy book this weekend and fell in love with it. The detailed backgrounds, the awesome pics, the cool method they have in awaking your weapon. Thus, I started contemplating a character that would make best use of it. I decided on a Paladin of Pelor, both due to several nice items that were paladin oriented and for motivational reasons. He would have found his first weapon of legacy (i'm thinking Durindana) and upon further research found out its legacy and managed to awaken it. While researching it he learned of the some of the items, and how many became lost or possessed by evil creatures. Thus he decides to seek out these items, liberate them from whatever foul hands may have carried them, and take them to whoever who do the most good with them. I was planning on him keeping no more than three, with a (slight avaricous) eye on the Exordius as his second item. (Wow that sword is beautiful) Please note this is just a character concept I am toying with for no particular campaign, and yes I would have to beg the DM to include items of legacy for my paladin to hunt for. I may just be all excited over that book and this could be a dumb concept, but whatever. Obviously my background would need more fleshing out, but this is just basic design. Opinions? |
