Hi guys, I'm new to all this and don't have any backstories to share, but I did have a couple concepts I'd like to run by the experts.

Illithid savant/bard: what better way to collect knowledge/tales for the little squiddy boys back at home for an illithid?

Illi savant/truenamer: Gather names from the minds of all living creatures, use their names to reanimate them, and use any leftover truenames to gain power against those still alive.

Bard/horizon walker(even though the PrC seems useless to me): A bard who has dedicated him/herself to wandering the land, gathering as many tales as he can...first hand.

So, what do you guys think?:)

For pure gameing value, id reccomend the bard. Illithids rarely fit into campaigns well, and i personally loathe the illithid savant PrC. Bards are always fun to play, rp wise and if made well, can be decent in battle.
