I am curios if this is any good; and any where near enough info for a roleplay heavy campaing.
please help me make it better if not (this is for the dm and other players to judge how in character i have been)

Gwydion Linor

Gwydion is a serene man; who exudes an air of confident calm that soothes most he interacts with. Guided by his own moral compass and the tenets of his faith, Gwydion is a warm and compassionate person.
Often mistaken for a noble or a priest because of his shiny elven mail and billowing silk clothing he is often underestimated, which is something he doesn't care to change. Despite this Gwydion has made his life a constant adventure and he would not have it any other way.

How does he look?
What kind of person is he?
Does he have a sense of humor?
Does he feel bound by duty?

If you need help with personality then Check this out (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=337518)
If you need help with personality/appearance then check this (http://www.roleplayingtips.com/readissue.php?number=126) and this (http://www.roleplayingtips.com/readissue.php?number=204) and possibly even the second half (http://www.roleplayingtips.com/readissue.php?number=92).

I have all of these in a folder.... quite sad, actually...

I believe this practice comes from old RPGA Living City games, but I'm not sure. The guy who first brought the idea to my attention ran RPGA events a LONG time ago. Anyway...

Each person writes three adjectives describing his character. Fold the paper so that it stands up and can be read by everyone at the table (you know, fold it like this ^ and write the words on both sides so you can read it too.) At the end of the game we voted (by secret ballot) as to who most accurately played his character. The winner gets...whatever (10% xp bonus, a free re-roll at the next session, etc...)

My current character would have: stubborn, "high & mighty", devout.

My most recent character would have been: fearful, loyal, determined

If your whole group doesn't want to do this, it still helps to do it for yourself.

Another thing I do is list all the other characters out on a sheet that I keep handy. This 1) keeps character names in front of me so I don't forget them, 2) allows me to keep track of key NPCs, and 3) helps me remember how I should interact with each character. My list might look like this:

Player---character---gender/race/class---how I perceive them
John---Wilhelm---M/human/sorcerer---powerful, foolhardy, trustworthy
Sam---Gregor---M/human/fighter---all talk, unpredictable, dangerous ally
Shiela---Dorja---F/dwarf/barbarian---powerful, team player, noble
Gary---Aeric---M/half-elf/bard---deceptively powerful, has my back

These things help me, anyway.

Thank you all for your help but i should have been a littel clearer. I would like to know what I should add to this to make it enough of a description of how he acts that one could judge my rp ability.
If you were my dm what would you like to know that i have not covered?
ooh and thanxs for that system claggart i think we might use it

I like the changes i made and i think it is over all better now than it was but it still needs somthing

Gwydion Linor

Somewhere between a Story teller, a Sage, and a Paladin Gwydion is an enigma to those around him.
He is a serene man; who exudes an air of confident calm that soothes most he interacts with. Guided by his own moral compass and the tenets of his faith, Gwydion is a warm and compassionate person. He is often mistaken for a noble or a priest because of his fine elven mail and billowing silk clothing. Not concerned with his reputation he is often underestimated, this is something he doesn’t care to change. Despite this Gwydion has made his life a constant adventure and he would not have it any other way.

Well, I'd like a background but I write so many stories that I do it for characters I will never use, for one reason or the other.

Need_a_Life i would write a background but my dm knows it and it would take me a very long time because i like it to have a story feel to it. I would end up writing so much that i couldnt play because i was not done with my background;
and i would rewrite it like 30 some odd times because i hate the stories i write and i really like this character.

However if you are interested i will some day post his background
