Need thougthts for a character concept that I have Kinda want to write a story but don't know where to start also. He is a human I think and he was save by a leonal celetial and has dedecated his life to protecting those in need. He weilds duel falchions. any other Ideas would be appreicated.

Are you dead set on human?

For game play purposes goliath offers much less of a penalty for dual wielding falchions.

Now out of game mechanics and into character himself:
How do you see him moving attacking? Would be be a barbairian?
Does he have a middle eastern fell to him?
Why did the leonal save him?

Just draw trhese things out ina quick outline and fill her in from there.

You may want to be careful with the dual falchions, many people may accuse you of stealing it from Drizzt Do'urden. As a dedicated guardian of good, Paladin sounds like a good start, perhaps you could use that as a template for what he can and has done

Well I could change the weapon but maybe it could be the weapon that Leonals weild.

I was thinking for game mechanics if I get to epic level I want him to be a gaurdian paramount. which you need evasion to get. so I think I wuold like to be a ranger but I would like for him to have cool weapons if not falchions.

NOw the character him self. I see him moving always in defence. never in anger. but will attack if others are threatened. the leonal saved him because while he was out gathering a lost sheep from his father's flock and was in a woods and was attacked by a demon/Devil ( not sure which one I should use).

A Leonal has 12 HD, so I guess it could easily take down an evil foe with 10 HD or less. A barghest sound fun. That would provide a good reason for the hero to be attacked by the fiend (the barghest wants to eat him), and a cool cinematic battle between a lion and a wolf.

What if your hero was using a single falchion?

What kind of hero would you like? A proud guy, loved by everyone, in his shinning armor (paladin), or the dark hero, distrusted by the cities, but respected in smaller settlement (ranger)?

Is it for a game, or for an independant story you want to write? If it's an independant story, you could greatly vary the archetype of your character. For example, you could have a paladin without bounded mount, or a ranger not dual-wielding weapons...

I want him to be mysterios but loved by those who meet him. It is for a game and I would like to make a stroy with him in it too.

Then you're better to go with a ranger. You could be using two scimitar (the penalties would be too strong if he was wielding two falchions, unless you take a few barbarian levels for the rage?). As long as you're not a drow or an elf, you shouldn't be looking too much like Drizzt. Or you could use a Double Scimitar, and use the Exotic Weapon Master PrC?

Have you access to the Unearthed Arcana book? You could be a Lion Totem Barbarian. It gives you the Run feat, a bonus to hide, and a bonus to damage when you charge...
Edit: Just saw the Lion Totem Barbarian doesn't have fast movement, so it's pretty much useless...

Just a thought but what about him having bladed gauntlets. you know going with the lion theme, it could be like claws. with a backup falchion and strength bow?

Yeah, it could be cool!

Depends, do you want Matrix Reloaded at higher levels, or Falchion-wielding mobile blender? If you want a mix, go with at least 2 levels of Monk first, then switch to Barbarian or possibly Ranger given his history, with Favored Enemy Outsider (Evil)

I just want him to be good at protecting people to be fierce in defending others but gentle when not in combat. Now I am not sure what weapon he should wield.
